Please help kiwibros...
I'm in the middle of renovating my home, and part of that has been throwing out old furniture.
My mother was always the source of information regarding this kind of stuff but she has sadly passed away and this is my first time having to do this type of stuff without her (not a pitty party just adding context).
Is there are a mattress or bed manifacturer worth the hype or are there any hidden gems that are cheap but super comfortable?
I've tried looking at Simba and other mattresses like that but the price seems so high compared to the competitors, and reviews are so unreliable that I don't want to sink a stupid amount of money in to a mattress that's going to be dog shit.
The following probably helps:
1. I'm a side sleeper
2. I am in a cold climate so lower/floor beds isn't practical as it gets cold af
3. Money isn't an issue - same with shoes, for something I spend 1/3 of my life in the price is worth it for a good product
4. I prefer hotel style/firmer mattresses
5. It needs to be a double sized and up
6. Space isn't an issue, bedrooms are large here, but I'd prefer it either have storage options
