I really hate it when people believe opinions are just as valid as facts. I was having an argument with someone and I brought up statistics from a peer reviewed journal article to support my position, and they refuted my point with their own opinion and stared smugly at me.

Wtf?
 
When people think that my opposition to egalitarianism and multiculturalism comes from a lack of exposure to non western cultures as opposed to me trying to emulate the non western cultures that I admire.

I don't get how someone can think that only being exposed to the most multicultural egalitarian society could lead to being inegalitarian
 
People who say snarky bullshit about you (within earshot too like a fucking dumbass) when you're minding your business and people who huff and puff about you having a favorite workout station (the gym I go to has one hour classes where you pick a station and stick with it throughout the workout). I am currently dealing with this dumb bitch at my gym who does both.
 
White hipster girls who wear hijabs because it's "so progressive." Bitch in their home countries women are forced to wear those under threat of rape or imprisonment. I'm not saying every women should walk around in a thong and pasties, but don't appropriate a symbol of oppression and claim it's empowering.

German Shepherds aren't at all dangerous. They're some of the most loyal, gentle and good natured dogs in the world. Yeah they're big and powerful and extremely intelligent so if you train one to be an attack dog they're very effective which is why police forces use them. If they're brought up in a family oriented environment as a pet they tend to be big furry teddy bears with an almost infinite supply of tolerance for ear pulling, tail tugging and all the other abuses that get dished out by young kids.

Pit bulls are so commonly used as attack dogs people forget that they too can be loving pets who are good with kids and other animals. It's sad.

Problem with pit bulls is that they've been bred for fighting for so long that they are starting to exhibit bred in traits for aggression and defensiveness.
