Winter - It's either extremely cold or extremely mild, hardly anywhere in the middle. I can walk outside in 0, -5, hell even -10 degrees Celsius if the winds are calm but I absolutely hate -30 degree temperatures. The windows are so frozen ice seeps into the interior and the doors get frozen shut leaving me to kick the door just to get it open. Pressure changes are very prevalent during that time, when it's this cold, the pressure could be as high as 1540hPa, and then when it warms it can change over 200hPa in a single day. We often call cold air Arctic air and warm air Pacific air. I also really hate slipping on ice as well. But if it's a mild winter, it's much better and temperatures can sometimes be as high as 10 degrees Celsius. This is like the only time you could walk outside, if it's really cold, it is much more depressing.
Spring - Winter weather could linger through nearly half of that period and it could eventually go straight to summer weather in a flash. March is usually pretty cold while May is usually pretty warm and April is either one or the other. Sometimes Winter can be so mild and Spring could be so warm that the leaves would be fully established by the end of April. The usually doesn't happen until around mid to late May. I remember going out in the middle of April and it was 27 degrees Celsius and it felt so warm outside. Also in May there is usually a rain storm that can last for days. The sounds of frogs emerge from Mid April and Subsides in Early July though some can be heard as late as August and even September.
Summer - Basically the best season in my opinion, everything looks alive and there's no problems going outside unless it rains badly. Thunderstorms are most common around this month unless you get a shit ton of wildfire smoke giving us bad air and makes it harder to look at the stars as the moon is red. June is the rainiest month and if a period or rain doesn't happen in May it will happen here. June also has the longest days, I live far north enough where during nights, the twilight doesn't disappear from Late May to Mid July. Noctilucent clouds are also most present at that time and is often seen from June to July, also firefly season from Mid June to Early July. Pressure shifts are least present here. August is dryer but still has hot weather. I have been filming thunderstorms for years, whenever there is a thunderstorm outside I would usually record it because I really love the light show. Summer isn't without it's flaws. Temperatures go as high as 36 degrees Celsius, if happening in June would start a worse wildfire season especially if the hot air is west. It can be pretty hot and muggy outside leading to a lot of sweat. Mosquito's can be so bad some bridges are walkways are rendered impassible unless you're on a bike or scooter going really fast. I heard they are a whole lot worse further north in the arctic. You're also at pretty high risk of getting sunburns that season like that one time I went to the fairground and my face and arms were horrendously burnt and my face was covered in blisters. We often have the fan on in the living room outside because the pets fare the temperatures even worse than me. When days are really hot, I had to drink a lot of water. However on rare occasions, snowfall can occur even at the peak of the season.
Autumn - It usually starts really hot and ends really cold. September is usually hot but you'll find frost returning as well as colder nights as the nights are longer. Although there are some rare occasions where September can be much colder and we could even get some pronounced snowfall in September. Leaves would disappear completely by around Late October but sometimes these leaves would even persist until December or even January although dry and dead because there isn't as much wind to blow them over. The very cold weather can arrive early even during the Halloween Season and November would either be okay or really shitty cold weather. Summer weather can even persist even in Early October, really, I remember chatting with people outside during Early October and I had to deal with a swarm of wasps because the wasps nest was nearby. Wildfire smoke could also persist in that time to.
But at the end of the day. Summer is my favorite season, everything is alive around that time and sleeping in dark rooms don't give me much of a disturbance during daylight hours.
