I recently enjoyed Highfleet. In the past, I had fun with Graviteam Tactics (and the many DLC) and Men of War: Assault Squad 2.
 
Chasm is the classic slavjank trying to be like the first true 3d fps like quake and unreal while still stuck in 2.5d. It's impressive for sure and feels so small and claustrophobic, it just got such a unique feel that it's very understandable that it's still inspiring great stuff like Hrot.
There also the gothic series and all the devs other game with are all considered "gothic but with...". Never played any of those ones but there fans apperatetly play them to an absurd degree.
 
Serious Sam (Croats), Project Warlock (a single Polack), Hard Reset (Polacks). Dunno if you'd count Shadow Warrior 2013, Shadow Warrior 2 and- no, there's no 3. What are you talking about?
Apparently Lords of the Fallen (both of them) are also Polack works with a smidge of kraut. Explains why they're so shit.
 
Sniper Ghost Warrior is an open world fps tactical shooter developed by CI Games (Polish). Its an okay game reminds me of Far Cry and The Witcher because its a national treasure.
 
Look up the Xenus series. TehSnakerer made a video about the entire trilogy, and the first game(Boiling Point) is easily the best. It's basically an open world FPS RPG series where you are a merc and have to complete missions to gain money and faction reputation, which you will need to upkeep your equipment, buy guns and ammo, and pay ridiculous fees to progress the story(rewarding good money management and punishing any setback during missions with even more grinding).
Honestly, I wish there were more games like this out there. By the time Precursors, the final game in the series, rolled around the game game shipped without a complete ending and with only a portion of it's story done. It starts and ends just as abruptly, and the story will never be concluded, very sad.
 
Hunt: Showdown. Lots of stupid decisions from the devs, but damned if it doesn't scratch an itch that no other game is capable of scratching.

Up to the mid point/last third when the mechs show up is just a wonderful experience. There's just a simple joy in using heavy machineguns to tear up flooring and staircases to pre-empt ambushes, as well as having all sorts of explosives to basically redraw the map to your own preferences.

And while its still very satisfying to play now and then it definitely earns the jankiness with how badly the mechs rebalance the entire game, without even counting all the other mechanics that weren't implemented properly or are just bugged so badly they're useless.
