There are so many different types to pick from each with their own benefits and drawbacks. Some of the more common are Coal, Gas, Nuclear, Wind, Solar, and Hydro.

I am a fan of hydro power because it's clean, straight forward, and a giant fuck you to nature and disgusting icky fish.
