Some pedo kills some kids in a chucke parody, shoves their corpses in a suit, the kids ghosts possess the characters and try to get revenge. That's it.

11 minutes of the plot. Yes it is that convoluted, a story that started out in a game that just had a murderer killing kids as a background detail.

Also 2 despite being advertised as a sequel is a prequel which is confusing and possibly tied to the milking of the bootleg showbiz pizza bear game This is made immediately obvious by the fact the day shift guy gets killed by the stupid bitch robot bear and his gang while checking out for the night midway through the first game but he's completely fine in the second one.
Also the child murderer has a son that apparently does lean or something.
I think these are important lore points.

The 3rd game seem like a good ending to the FNAF timeline. It ended with closure. All of the events in that video afterwards feels like tact on fan fiction that only exists to drag the franchise out. The third game takes place in 2023, how far into the future does the FNAF timeline go?

Why did they change the year of the bite later on in the games and why did they retcon it to the fucking bear being the one who bit the kid instead of the gnashing tooth gangly fucker? Will we ever know? Find out next 50 pizza bear game sequels later,now made by commitee!
What's really funny to me is the scott guy used to make a bunch of other somewhat mildly successful games before the pizza bear one but once his life became just milking thatone thing and he tried making a meta joke rpg about that the fanbase he courted called out for his fucking head, later doing the same thing again when they found out he was a republican or some shit,conveniently not caring for years till the 2020 days. Dude's family is probably set for life at this point though he's got a shitload of clearly low budget but super fucking successful games around that night trap ass pizza parlor jamboree thing.

That's because they are. Scott wanted to start shifting the responsibility of the franchise off of himself so he basically gave the rights to a small dev startup. They proceeded to fuck up the story immediately by making evil murderer guy immortal.

some purple nigger (William Afton) made a golden bear and golden bunny with this pink nigger (Henry Emily) who were both extreme autists in robotics , the purple nigger made a springlock suit (which basically is a wearable animatronic suit and u cant have any moisture and etc more otherwise metal will pierce you everywhere which hurts a shit ton)
So the two niggers make a pizzeria with their totally safe springlock suits™ and then 1 of Willy's 3 children dies (Crying Child/evan) from its just a prank bro™ from Michael Afton (Willy's second son) along with his friends by putting Evan into the golden bear's jaw (bite of 87) . Willy then got sad and thought it was Henry's fault so Willy saw Henry's only child was outside of the pizzeria not being able to get in so William decided to kill her and drive away (Also , she becomes the puppet)
Willy doesn't get caught and the two are forced to close down the pizzeria because of murder and the very safe suits , so they make a new one with new animatronics (Freddy Fazbear , Chica etc etc) (FNAF 1)William then kills 6 children because he's retarded and stuffs them into the animatronic suits. Later , Michael comes here (He's the protag ingame) as a dying corpse (DONT QUESTION IT...JUST DONT...OKAY???) knowing that children's souls are stuck in the animatronics tries to mess with them but then gets fired because he smells really badly and messed with the animatronics.
Henry decides to make a new pizzeria without Willy (FNAF 2 ) , William realizes there's spirits in the animatronics (he probably discovered Remnant here which is basically this soul shit that makes something immortal and its how Michael is alive too) he dismantles the animatronic suits but then the spirits gang up on his lil' ass and then he panics and goes into his beloved fursuit (the golden bunny) and fucking dies in one of the worst ways to go because the suit got touched by 1 molecule of water
(fun fact his balls got impaled too by metal)
30 fucking years later (FNAF 3 ) happens where Phone guy's son decides to make some horror attraction called Fazbear Frights and for some fucking reason decided to get a serial killer in a metallic fursuit in it and decided to make it public (Also fun fact , fnaf 3 happens in 2023) after Night 6 , Michael burns the place down but William (Now springtrap) escapes.
FNAF 4 , nobody knows really who's the player nor the context but there's 2 sides 1: The player is the Crying Child who experiences all of these nightmares as he dies or 2: Michael Afton hallucinating from weird gas shit that his dad made to punish Michael for killing his little brother (Why didn't he go to jail? Where is the fucking logic in FNAF?☠☠)
FNAF Sister Location , William tells Michael to go down in the basement because his sister is in one of the fucking animatronics ( Circus Baby killed Elizabeth Afton despite William telling her multiple times to not go near the fucking thing) (Also apparently Michael killed his own wife and stuffed him in Ballora) Basically these animatronics were built to extract Remnant out of kids , so basically killer machines. At the end of this game an animatronic called Ennard (which for some reason is somehow also Elizabeth Afton and also Michael Afton and for some fucking reason FNAF fans ship Ennard x Michael Afton which is selfcest and incest
) anyways Michael's organs get scooped by this machine and on that machine was a tint of Remnant so Michael is immortal and Ennard climbs inside him and now Michael is a rotting corpse , Yay! ((By the way this happens before some of the FNAF games , FNAF games dont go chronoligically))
Fnaf 6 (The Pizzeria Plex game) Henry creates a pizzeria to lure William and William's daughter and his own daughter so they can burn so their spirits are free. Michael signs up because he fucking hates his dad I don't know about this game that much. At the end Henry burns down the place (This is also the game where the iconic ` Connection Terminated` copypasta comes from) So the people that die in this fire are:
William Afton (As his second fursuit because he always come back)
Henry Emily
Elizabeth Afton
Henry's daughter
Michael Afton

My time has come…
So, I have an extremely high(ly autistic) level of FNAF knowledge. Since the FNAF movie came out, I have gotten really into FNAF again.
Here is the best summary of the lore I can give, in chronological order:
- The story starts in the 70’s. Two men named William Afton and Henry Emily start a small diner called Fredbear’s Family Diner. This restaurant has two unique “springlock” suits named Fredbear and Bonnie. Henry designed the suits with his advanced robotics knowledge, while William handled running the business.
- William has a family. He has a wife, a son named Michael, a daughter named Elizabeth, and a younger son named ??? (let’s call him Garrett). William and his wife have a lot of arguments and eventually, they get divorced. Afterwards, William’s wife commits suicide. William is now a single father looking after his three kids.
- Meanwhile, Henry is happily married and has a daughter named Charlie. William becomes jealous of Henry’s scientific genius and his “perfect” family. Depressed, William becomes an alcoholic and abusive father. One day, after a hard night of drinking, William drives to Fredbear’s and sees Henry’s daughter, Charlie, locked outside by bullies. Seeing an opportunity, William snaps. He decides to inflict immense pain on his best friend by murdering his daughter outside of the restaurant they founded together. But what William doesn’t know is that Henry had built a robot called the Security Puppet to look after Charlie. The Puppet walks overs to Charlie’s dead body and breaks down from the rain outside. The Puppet falls next to Charlie’s body, and Charlie’s soul is transferred into the animatronic.
- William drives home quickly after killing Charlie. He arrives home and finds that his younger son Garrett has locked himself in his room. William sees that Garrett has escaped the house through his window and escaped. William believes Garrett has gone to the grave of his ex-wife. William thinks “He will be sorry when he gets back”.
- Henry’s wife leaves him due to the loss of their daughter. Henry continues to work with William, not knowing the truth of his daughter’s death. In 1983, the pair open a new larger restaurant, named Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. This place has four (non-springlock) animatronics: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy.
- Around this time, William delves deep into research to become a robotics genius like Henry. William punishes his son Garrett by performing experiments on him. He uses hallucinogenic gas to make Garrett see terrifying illusions of evil animatronics attacking him. William monitors his son’s responses to these experiments.
- Later in 1983, the events of FNAF 4 occur (the first game in the timeline). Garrett is being bullied by his older brother Michael. Garrett is terrified of the animatronics and Michael uses that to scare him. On Garrett’s birthday, Michael brings Garrett to the Fredbear animatronic and places him in its mouth. But to Michael’s shock, Garrett’s tears cause Fredbear to malfunction and chomp Garrett’s head, putting him in hospital. This event is known as the “Bite of 83”.
- On Garrett’s deathbed, Michael apologises to Garrett for his horrible actions. Garrett fades away as his soul moves on to the afterlife. But as he dies, he hears a voice call to him. This is the voice of Charlie. Charlie says to him: “I will put you back together.”
