Chris doesn't believe he trolls. What we call trolling is what Chris would refer to as "activism".

With a somewhat ambitious public image makeover underway, and Chris desperately trying to reconnect with fellow MHS alumni, I wondered if he may become desperate enough to troll himself, in order to paint himself as a sympathetic character. With proof of trolling in hand, he could portray himself as the poor speshul individual that all these mean twolls are picking on. He may be counting on some people feeling sorry enough for him to accept his friend requests.

Why would he need to do that? He can literally just google his name or go onto the CWCki and find someone trolling him.

I agree. What he may be thinking though is that those examples also reveal disturbing information about Chris and / or show his in a less than positive light. I'm suggesting that he may try to contrive a way to make it look like he was being trolled when he did nothing to provoke or deserve it.

Then again, maybe I'm giving him too much credit.

Chris wouldn't think it's necessary that the trolling be proven. He thinks it's already apparent that he's being trolled.

At most, I can see him further "adjusting" the events of his past, to further fit the narrative in his mind. It's possible he fabricated his parents having cancer, so the possibility for munchausen syndrome antics may exist. However, as previously stated, I don't think Chris feels he'd need to construct a bullying scenario, because - in his own mind - Christian Weston Chandler the most tragic hero to ever walk on Leonard Bearnstein's green earth.

If he ever did, Chris' certainly not clever enough to launch a credible trolling campaign against himself. It's hard enough for me to explain to people why Chris thought Surfshack Tito, from Rocket Power, was out to get him... I can't even imagine how his former schoolmates would interpret it from a series of photos of men with their chest covered in MS Paint, a few shrugs, a few grunts, and random complaints about Twilight Sparkle sending him angry emails.

Of course, but there's a little part of me that always hopes/wonders if Chris'll ever dig deep enough to where he strikes solid impassable stone and just can't go any further, because even HE knows it's absurd.

If the "battle" between Chris and his "trolls" were a conventional war, Chris' army would have been totally annihilated, his air force blown out of the sky, all his ships sunk, CWCville would be totally occupied and Mayor Chandler himself holed up in the besieged presidential palace. Any attempt to win a "victory" over his detractors will fail because of the sheer overwhelming evidence that he has "lost"; e.g. the cwcki, the forums, the fact that you can just google his name and see an entire epic cycle of fail in full view.

Wait...wait... Mayor Chandlers PR department is holding a press conference. Let's hear what Chandlers people have to say...

I I haven't watched Tamers yet, and I was only considering Adventure because it aired around the same time as Pokemon and the creation of Sonichu (1999-2000) but we should take that into account. I wonder how Chris would react to such a change. (And Pokémon has a much worse show than Digimon and everyone needs to accept this)

If Power Rangers is anything to go by, he would love Adventure for it's simplicity, tolerate the cast changes in Adventure 02 and go apeshit when Tamers airs. Cast changes, complicated plot, freaking dark with characters getting PTSD. Not sure about about Frontier, as I had chores on the weekend that kept me from watching it.

Sonicmon would star Chris and his galpals who have been transported to the Digital World to save it. He would have fun with the different types of evolution, eventually make CWCville as the place where everyone is from.

He would decry Monster Rancher as a ripoff trying to take away Digimon's spotlight.

One last thought, if Digimon had games that could compete with Pokemon (okay, World 2 wasn't that bad) I think the series would have had a lot more staying power. The main draw, in my humble opinion, of Pokemon was it's social aspect. Console games at the time couldn't compete with that. Now I'm stuck with the image of Chris in high school going around the cafeteria, looking for someone to trade with but being too shy to actually say something.

Part of me does hope that when reality slaps him square in the face with a that maybe it would be the beginning of a saga so epic you would swear that someone broke into his house and stole all of his vidya,. But at the same time I don't hope that reality doesn't slap him that hard, because with as highly as he holds his high school days, there's a reasonable possibility that it could mean the end of our pet lolcow for a good while. With how unstable he can be, I wouldn't be too hard pressed to think he would finally snap at the sight of perceiving all of his former gal pals and classmates as trolls.

This is so interesting that it should be a separate What If.

If he figured out that his 'great high school time' was actually a delusion, his heart level would probably drop to -1000%. At that point he becomes fully unpredictable.

By replying with "Autism", some users mean to point out that your question referred to an overly specific or obscure part of pop culture specifically aimed at young children, and that from their POV your question came across as extremely idiosyncratic. Examples: "What if Chris was a locomotive on Sodor?", "What if Chris was married to Pinky Pie?"

And yes, it is very subjective. Someone who replies to a MLP-themed "what if" with "Autism" may discuss "What if Chris was a wizard in Middle Earth" at great length. There is a bit of a nerd hierarchy. LOTR fans may view MLP fans as silly or weird. But as I said, all this is very subjective
