I think whatever it could have done to help Chris would have been negated by being in contact with Borb. Without reinforcement at home, it would be easy for CWC to slip back into bad habits and the Chandlers' attitudes would undermine everything that the school does. Look at high school. Chris was in special classes, ones that tried to teach him coping skills. Chris has forgotten these lessons and continued to act like the entitled brat that Borb allowed him to be.

Even if Borb had let him go, they probably wouldn't have accepted it. I see them as too stubborn, proud and stupid to allow anyone else to raise their special snowflake.

Agreed Borb road blocked the school quiet a few times. If Chris really wanted to be true and honest and have a worst enemy to hate it should be his parents since they have all time high scores in kick the autistic.

Let's say a well meaning yet incredibly naive Guidance Counselor sees that Chris is a former student with Autism who graduated from college and thinks it'd be a great idea to have him speak at an assembly to show students that Autistic people can accomplish just as much as anyone else. Chris being the attention whore he is accepts immediately. How would the assembly go? What would he talk about? How would the students and faculty react?

Five minutes before Chris goes on, a younger teacher who actually knows the full power of Google pulls over said guidance counselor and shows him the CWCki. The guidance counselor blanches, is quiet for a moment, then asks to speak to Chris. Chris approaches. He's picked a fairly clean pair of khakis, which goes so well with the ill-fitting Manchester Class of 2000 shirt. He also took extra-special care in his primping; he must have used at least two washes of Axe, and he even brushed his hair.

Meanwhile, the student body is assembled in the auditorium, ready to be inspired and/or skip class.

But there's a faint but audible disturbance backstage; in fact, it grows louder by the second. An unfamiliar, squeaky voice yells something about "kicking autistics" and "that Jew Snyder." The counselor's voice says something about "You can't solicit the student body for sex, for nothing."

Then it fades away again. The guidance counselor appears onstage and informs everybody that due to personal differences, Mr. Chandler had to be escorted from school property and that the assembly is cancelled.

Everyone boos and is grumpy for the rest of the day.

And this is how Chris makes the largest impression he will ever make on Manchester High.

You know that scene in The Waterboy where Bobby is giving advice with the NFL pro, who turns it into a message about drugs? I see the guidance counselor rushing to the stage, trying to salvage the assembly by making it about reaching your potential by no doing wacky tobaccy.

The funny thing is that in his e-mail he said that he enjoyed the Ohio trip even though he was ultimately duped by the trolls. And I wouldn't be surprised if Chris was telling the truth, either. This is someone who has never been outside of VA except for that one trip to California (by plane, I assume). So it must have been nice to see, for a short time, what other cities look like. Don't get me wrong, Virginia (and Charlottesville in paricular) is beautiful, but I can't imagine being confined to that region for the better part of 30 years.

I can't think of many other situations where Chris would take a roadtrip. Barb won't let him go very far, so it would only work if they went somewhere together and Chris drove. Hey, that makes me wonder, did Chris drive or did Barb drive when they went to that Mythbusters show in DC?

Anyway, as for other trips, the only thing I can envision is after Barb's death, all of the utilities at 14BC get shut off, and Chris drives up to NYC to attempt to move in with Cole.

If it were still 2007, he'd probably just give a talk like in his FUTURE MESSAGE video. That is, somewhat creepy, but relatively calm.

Nowadays, though, he'd just rant about Michael Snyder, Megan, and various other security staff in the greater Charlottesville area.

I think the real question here is when Chris realizes this was a bad idea (and he will no matter what anyone says), and goes home. Will Barb uphold her threat all these years and change the locks and not welcome him in.

A) Barb wouldn't let someone in the house to change the locks. She's aware the hoard might get her kicked out.
B) She needs Chris more than he needs her.

Assuming that they don't turn him away at first sight? I see him getting the event cancelled before they even schedule anything. The counselors would maybe ask to hear an example of what he was going to talk about or read his speech just so they can get a general idea of what type of questions people would ask afterwards. It wouldn't surprise me if schools did this in general, as everyone's afraid of a student's parent freaking out over small things. I can see Chris going over the trolls, Snyder, his mom, Crystal, and so on, which would let them know that they talked to the wrong guy.

But assuming that they don't do this and Chris goes onto the stage, I see him talking about how TomGirls are awesome, men should wear bras, and how he cares for his mother. He'd eventually talk about trolling online, which would be good until he started going too overboard with the hate and trying to turn the school into his own personal army. One of the counselors would pull the mike, at which point there would be a small struggle and Chris would start freaking out. Cue him reliving the moment where he gets held down by several teachers.

I'm a high school student far away from the US. I'm fairly sure Chris hasn't any motivation to ever stop by, seeing as it's useless as an attraction location, though it does have wi-fi.
But if, against all odds, he showed up there, he would probably be removed by campus security.
