While I generally agree with this statement, I think that "no darkies" is a sweetheart criterion which Chris actually intends to follow. To quote the Autism papers:

One such occurrence was during an interaction with African American classmates. These young women were questioning the patient regarding his search for a girlfriend, at which point he told them they could not be his girlfriend because they were not white.

It would appear that Chris thought those young ladies were romantically interested in him, and (in his mind) he rejected them. This is in marked contrast to Chris's no fatties rule, which he broke when the opportunity presented itself. Also, keep in mind that Barb would probably not be happy with Chris dating a black woman. Should a black woman (or someone pretending to be one) romantically pursue Chris, OPL would refuse such advances out of deference to his beloved smother.

Yeah, but the autism papers are only going to be able to tell you so much about modern day Chris and what he'll go for. He was willing to stay at least semi-consistent and "reject" certain people that didn't meet his criteria at a time when he was more naive about his chances, but that was nearly ten years ago and a lot of rejection, loneliness and disappointment have hit him since then. As desperate as he probably was during the lead-in to his date with Faeryn, he's probably twice as desperate now. So no, I really don't see him turning a black girl down, hot or otherwise. But I also don't see him giving a shit about Crystal anymore either, if he ever even actually did.
