What if Chris' life is different than we think?
What if Bob, an ailing scientist, created Christian as the first aging robot to have human feelings, as a gift for Barb who had recently lost her son (not referring to Cole) in a freak accident? What if he hoped this would change Barb from her psychotic behavior, but consequentially didn't? What if Bob couldn't find it in his heart to take the life of his own creation away himself and decided to let him live the life we know of today?
What if Chris' autism was actually rooted to his program forever malfunctioning or getting too old?
