On top of that, a large-scale gathering like this (Wikipedia says attendace hit 37,000) would make it very easy for her to give Chris the slip.

I'd start defying reality like in the Matrix, slowing down, flying, avoiding bullets.
Then I'd turn God mode on and firebomb the place World War II style... in a way that would burn everyone and everything to a crisp while sucking all the oxygen out of the place. When I'm done with the place, it'll look like the surface of the goddamned moon, to paraphrase Vonnegut. Victorious, I'd throw a gay tobacky-smoking party in the ashes.

You see, I don't think Chris understands how businesses work. He'd basically make the place unprofitable by turning it into a clubhouse/brothel where he creepily breathes down the neck of teenage girls as a CERTIFIED GYM LEADER YO. Within less than a week, he'd be boycotted and have his assets seized for discrimination, sexual harassment, poor service bordering on fraud, unfilled mandatory paperwork, egregiously unbalanced finances in the red, consistent scoldings from the Better Business Bureau, and frequent 1-star reviews on Yelp/Google+.
The whole thing would make the local and even state news for a few days.

You know the tired meme of ringing up Gamestop and asking for BattleToads? Well, people would do the same for Chris's GamePlace, except they'd ask for Hexboxes or PS Triples/Quadruples. He definitely wouldn't stock xBoxes, anyways.

You're perhaps one of my favorite forum members now. Lets be comrades.
Honestly, I don't want a new lolcow. There's still a lot to extrapolate from Chris. I may be an odd bird, though. Seeing I enjoy listening to the same PTV album, just to find new things and quirks in the low budget, yet highly polished work. I also love appreciating the humanity of the work. It's one of the few modern musical works I could dare call art. I digress, however.
All in all. I don't want another. Unless they're going to pick up where he left off in 10'. Chris' life was truly the perfect storm. Appreciate with awe and wonder the destruction it left.

Youdorks, what you said was rather... *for a lack of a better word* thought-provoking. If things did play out with CXC, then it would be similar and different. While CXC would go through some similar phases like CWC, there would be some differences. While CWC tried to make a career out of a Sonic recolor, CXC would try something different, something that would involve a different fictional character. If there were a-loggers of CXC, then they would mostly be shotdown by both white knights and trolls( the former do it either for some self-righteous or truly good reason, the latter just to keep lulz and some civility) though some of the a-loggers would become CXCs' BlueSpike though in a method that may not involve a false sweetheart. But really, in the end CXC would eventually leave the internet or stay on, but CXC would either become just like the precursor or CXC would just lay low, never letting much details out. Though if one asked if there could be another CWC the answer would be maybe. Even if there is one like Chris to act as the new CWC, that lolcow might either: A) fail to reach the same level as Chris or B) Have enough intelligence to not be like Chris.

If Chris became the lead character, he would end up doing things to the girl just like he did to Megan. In the end, the girl gives up and either does what Vivian Gee did or just cut off contact from him just like Megan and the Wallflower.

Well kudos for actually thinking about this and not asking "Well what do you think?" as the text.
I don't know, I think the same things would happen again. Obviously we have the experience of dealing with Chris now, that we haven't had the first time with Chris. I think a group would try to monopolize this new Chris and use it to enhance their own interests (e-fame, power, etc.). People will realize that even if power is concentrated to a few individuals, you'll get some content for at least some time to a burnout point but get some content after that. You know what it was like before PVCC and the like? Nobody had a fucking clue when Chris would release shit, we'd obsessively check his YouTube and webpage to see what was new, there was no predicting. It's really that or you have weensters troll this new Chris, get a lot of content in the short term, but then said Chris becomes paranoid or whatever and shuts out the world.
Though it's worth taking into consideration that this new Chris would be able to look back on the experience of "old" Chris, if he bothered to check, and know what to do. But then again, this goes into my views on history and this really isn't the type of place for such discussions.

Yes indeed. There woul be a satarical manga on the experience along with Chris being refered as a NEET. Though if NHK Chris had an animu Megan/Vivian, he would also have an animu Clyde Cash, but instead of being an oompa-loompa from New Jersey, it would have to be from some kind region in Japan thats based on a male trend.cubesandcubes dijo:

This is a really well thought out analysis of the CWC phenomenon in it's current state. Yes, the "glory days" are behind us, but it's still fun to analyze what we've already seen, and stay informed of the bits of weirdness Chris is still willing to share with the world.
Could there be another Chris? I suppose it's possible, but not probable. Chris is like the Mohammad Ali or Babe Ruth of LOLcows. He's the best there ever was. Other LOLcows aren't quite as amazingly messed up as Chris, and anyone who's actually more messed-up crosses into HorrorCow territory, provoking fear and anger rather than laughter. Chris is unique in being as crazy as a LOLcow can get without crossing the line that creepos like Nick Bates have crossed.
If there was a "CXC", I wonder if the trolls would try to show some restraint this time, to avoid scaring this new "Chris" away from the internet like they did the real Chris. If they learn from that mistake, and keep the a-logs/bluespikes in check, they might keep CXC from reaching the point that Chris is at, where he's no longer posting bad comics and videos to the net.
The possibility that the CWCki could serve as a cautionary tale is interesting. But, there were LOLcows before Chris and he didn't learn from any of them. If one is truly "the new CWC", he'd probably be just as stubborn and thickheaded as Chris himself, and just as likely to take advice.

The place would be out of business within a month. He'd think that any customers who asked him for help were DAMN DIRTY TROLLS, any other customers would probably leave as soon as they entered because all the merchandise would have odd grease all over it and stink, and all the merchandise would be ridiculously overpriced. And he'd probably have no idea how to advertise for the place.
