He wouldn't be terribly phased, I mean, given how filthy that god damn house is, he would shrug it off. 
Write a Sonichu comic where both Sonichu and CWC are "confirmed" for Smash 4. As soon as they arrive at the battlefield, Snake sneaks up behind Sonichu and snaps his neck, killing him. Chris is in shock while Jigglypuff uses Sing to put him to sleep.
When he awakens, Sonic, his "hero" will be there. But he will find that Sonic wants him dead too. Sonic ties him to a chair, only leaving him control of his arms, because, let's face it, he'd be too stupid to escape, and force him to play *gasp* the Xbox One. He will beg to stop, at any cost, and Sonic says that the cost is his life. He agrees and Snake shoots him.
Every other character in the comic realizes that the protagonists are dead and kill themselves. Sonichu is over.
For the remaining time, while publishing it, I make him smash all his video game consoles, along with his TV.

Maybe Barb will leave him the house and he'll keep on doing what he's doing, hopefully not having to pay a mortgage or...whatever. He's already in charge of financing and whatnot, so if he's able to survive now with her, hopefully he'll be able to cope without her.
Also, from what the small details of the skype call about Chris grieving over his father, it didn't really sound so much being upset that he's dead but rather being upset that he has more responsibilities and is pulled away a little bit from his Peter-Pan Syndrome. But, this observation could be erroneous since he does have mental problems and may take things differently than we do.
Chris is still a child, mentally. Even though he's taking care of mommy now, he goes about it as a child. Losing his mother, he may react like a child and be broken. Maybe being broken a little will help him in being an adult and being productive...or make things a whole lot worse. Whichever is the case, we'll never know until it happens, if it does while we still care.
I also wonder if Chris will go to Cole for guidance?

You have to look at what Barb actually does for Chris, which is virtually nothing. Chris is stupid, but he isn't retarded. He can drive a car, pay bills, go shopping for his own food, etc. I doubt he'll be under "social welfare" any more then he's already been. The tugboat will just keep steaming along.
Now, mentally/emotionally, who can say? Bob and Barb have been the only permanent fixtures in his life. Once he's completely alone who knows? Do you remember your first year away from home? Now imagine it with absolutely no-one to talk to and not a single real friend (and if that actually describes your first year away from home, then you should understand exactly what i'm talking about.). It's gonna be tough, and if Chris had any sense, he'd dial down the hateful internet shitposting, because the day's gonna' come where he's really going to need at least one real friend. (Anna's half-hearted long-distance whiteknighting does not count.)
Now i doubt very much that he'll ever really put any of that together. What i actually think will happen is that as Barb declines, we'll see more of the angry desperation seen in his tweets to Cole.
If (and really when) Barb passes and a magic girlfriend has yet to miraculously save Chris from his life, then the love-quest will probably go into sudden-death overtime, and CWCville will become very very dark place.

As we all know Chris has a habit of reading these here forums and seems to have begun fixating on us here as the same nest of trolls who have tormented and persecuted him since greene county and whom are the trolling stupid moriarty to his autistic incontinent holmes.
However it is also clear that he has attempted to genuinely (or as much as he is able) find some friendly/supportive voices here who dissent from the "evil troll mafia" (in his mind) and want to help him. Now that he is plunging even further depths of loneliness and desperation I was wondering what would possibly happen should Chris start trying to quietly find life lessons in these threads?

See, one of Chris' greatest problems is that he expects the world to change in a way that suits him, rather than changing for the better. While there's definitely some good advice for OPL to be found in the forums, he'd most likely ignore it, as it requires him to do something that isn't sit on his lazy ass, play vidya, eat and bandage Barb's ass.

Given that Cole was never really part of Chris' life (or David or Suzanne) he grew up with his parent's undivided attention. Well, as much attention as Bob and Barb gave him, whatever. He considered himself the center of his parent's universe when he was younger, calling himself a miracle given his parent's advanced age.
I think that, if Chris had a younger sibling, he might not be such an entitled jackass. He would have had to learn to share his toys/vidya, his space, his parents, etc. Not saying that a younger sibling would have made Chris a GOOD person, but having another sibling actually part of his life might have given Chris a more balanced perspective of his own life. Thoughts?

If the younger sibling was neurotypical, Bob 'n' Barb would definitely play favorites. Because of this, Chris would not be so willing to care for his elderly parents once the perceptive kid inevitably ditches 14 Branchland for good.

This is definitely a "what if", but it's probably one of the more interesting ones put forth.
I agree that Chris probably wouldn't have been such a selfish prick if he hadn't been babied and coddled so much, but since he's "special" i don't really know that even having a younger sibling would have prevented that. It's a pretty interesting hypothetical though. I think that either Chris would be less egotistical, or Chris would be exactly the same, except that he would have a little brother/sister who completely resents him and Barb.
Or Maybe Barb would have babied Chris and Bob would have taken more to the "normal" son/daughter?

This, more or less. It is an interesting hypothetical, but I think a lot of it depends on whether or not said younger sibling would've been normal and if so, it's hard to see the situation turning out any better. My brother's in his early thirties, and while he's not even close to having the sort of psychological and attitudinal problems that Chris has, he lives a life pretty similar to Chris; sits around my parents' house most of the day, never gets out, has a job but barely works 16 hours a week, and has pretty much zero aspirations. Much of this is because he's always had trouble getting on with others and while I don't think there's anything clinically wrong with him, my parents took note of his poor sociability and they (my mom, mostly) made it a point to compensate by mollycoddling the fuck out of him.somejerk dijo:
