What happened to torrents?

I remember pirating by torrenting being just going into torrentz or pirate bay and clicking on what comes first that looks legit. But lately, every time I try to find a film there are barely no matches, tons of sites are shades of their formers selves, every click opens waves of spam and it just tries to give me capeshit rather whatever I'm asking.

I have not had trouble with movies. Not much tv i want to watch. I would like later seasons I'd My Cat From Hell, last two seasons of Fear Thy Neighbor.

Music I uslly get from rutrackee which can be tough. A lot of the music I like is undergroh d so I have to buy some things on Bandcamp. I don't mind that bc I want to support musical artists, whereas not feeding Hollywood is a moral imperative.

Do you guys still use those private trackers with credits systems? When I was in middle school, I was a part of an anime one which did bonus events and multipliers for specific torrents. It was kinda fun. I was introduced to Ghost in the Shell because I just wanted bonus credits from seeding it.

I think most people just stream movies these days. But most of the movies are garbage now so there is no point in pirating them or even streaming them. I guess Hollywood did find a way to stop people from pirating movies. Make garbage no one wants to bother stealing. I buy movies I really like on Blu-Ray. I like having a physical copy of movies. If they ever start putting CGI niggers trannies and other woke faggotry in old movies I won't have to see it, hopefully. Yes, I am a physical copy fag when it comes to movies. Also I don't have to sit through ads to see a movie which is what happens when you Stream them, at least through Roku. I have never streamed anything using my PC except YouTube videos. I use adblock so I don't see the ads there. I have tried watching some movies on the YouTube movie channel. But when you use adblock you can't watch the movie in anything higher than 480p. If you try to watch it in fullscreen it doesn't look very good.

Zoomers are like the literal Boomers and don't know how to use a PC. They don't understand how computer files work.

Most things got movied to streaming sites. If I can't find a torrent, usually googling "moviename 123movies" will bring up a streaming site with it on. Remember to use your ad blocker or be met with severe visual aids.
Pirating would have died down if Netflix wad the only game in town but now every company has its own service and we're back to cable.

I still torrent and usually only struggle to find those rare old movies

I used to think usenet had it all, but I'm discovering more and more that it's not terribly great for obscure and/or a lot of foreign stuff. For example, I cannot find this anywhere for my mom, even on the handful of pretty decent torrent sites I'm on:

The IMDb page is so bare that it's like the film was never shot. However, Sonarr lists it as the fourth film (I stumbled upon the previous three), so I'm assuming it definitely exists. I can't plug it into Radarr, though.

I'd love to get my foot in the door of a site that had mondo bizarre stuff that no one would dare post to usenet.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I've also found a few things on, of all places, YouTube that hasn't appeared anywhere else. In which case, I can grab it via yt-dlp:

Quality may be pretty poor, but it's better than nothing.
