I'm with the OP regarding Black Sabbath as being up there when it comes to "heavy" sound. It's a crime imo that Iommi's solo stuff is relatively unknown.
Into The Void was the first song heavier than pop and soft rock I've ever heard in my life and it left a huge impression on me
If you want heavy, check out the 1:01:40 timestamp forward.

Tracy G really crushes that sludgy, heavy tone, too. I don't really think of ultra-fast blast beats as particularly "heavy," especially when the mix has the entire midrange sucked out of it. Gotta have weight. Put some bottom in it. Like if your song is is a girl, she's big-tiddy goth gf with a huge ass, not skinny hyperactive headbanger gf.

Or this, Zakk Wylde had a very heavy tone on the No More Tears album.

Blow Up The Outside World is heavier than BHS both musically and lyrically. You just need to see/hear this cover version by Living Colour performed hours after Chris Cornell passed away.


As for the heaviest non-metal song ever? For mine, that'd be Denzel Curry's version of Bulls On Parade.

One of the heaviest objects in the known universe is the fourth track on the album Pathétique by Fushitsusha (1994). It is 44 minutes long and feels like being crushed by a black hole. Warm up to it with the rest of the album first:
 
They were complete fucking monsters in another league that night. This was already their heaviest song at this point, and yet they somehow found a way to make it even heavier. The drums sound like battering rams. Hetfield's voice is absolutely possessed, especially those growls at 4:45. Lars is completely off his fucking head on coke.
 

Pretty much anything Car Bomb ever put out.

But also, this song wins the thread on a technicality, at least until CB puts out a song called "even heavier matter from the depths of the multiverse."
