I have chronic nightmares. Usually they're boring shit like someone killing me though, this one was abstract and cool in comparison.
I dreamed that I wrote an autobiography and starred in a documentary. As part of it, I had to preserve a room from my childhood, so I let it be there. Over time, filming crews would come and ask to film the room, then eventually just people would come and ask me to see the room and I would let them in. Because of this, I kept the room as it was, every piece of furniture, decoration and small detail intact.
As decades went by, the room was still preserved but I grew bitter and felt imprisoned by it. I could never move out of the house and I could never move past my childhood because the room had to be preserved.
One day I saw myself, as in my IRL self that is still young. He wanted to see the room and get a tour too, and after flinging insults at him for 5 minutes or so I let him in. He looked at me and the room, disappointed, and it was around here that I recognized the person as myself. I felt creeped out, I went to the bathroom and saw a stranger in the mirror. That's who I had become.
I woke up in cold sweats so psychoanalyze me kiwis
