I was waiting for the intercity bus in the middle of nowhere outside of Beograd. Nice view, fields and small woods. Suddenly I'm taken out of my enjoyment of the landscapes by Null appearing out of thin air. "Mind if I sit here?" he asked very politely, and with that innocent cherubic face .. how could I refuse. He sat down and for a moment joined me in staring in the distance. Then came the smalltalk.
"So, do you know what they grow on fields in Serbia?"
That question surprised me a bit, but since we were near some fields I thought Null just wanted to share his knowledge of this beautiful land.
"Uhhh, like, wheat, potatoes.." I started naming things that can usually be found on a field. His face turned into mischevously devilish.
"Yes, and what else?"
"Poppies?"
"And what else?"
"I can't think of anything else, Null" I finally said with a bit sour tone as this smalltalk turned into an interrogation.
"Do you want me to show you?" he finally asked. I hoped to end this conversation and expected him to have some kind of a vegetable or grain in his pockets so I agreed.

(They also grow rape in there. For oil.)
