Tai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger for the PS1.

Old game from back when I was a kid that was probably where Kung Fu Panda was inspired from, considering both were made by Dreamworks.
 
Yakuza 6, 0, kiwami 1 and 2

Originally I wanted to beat 0 then move on to kiwami and so on, but then sales and life happened so screw order.
 
Going to dive in Fist of the North Star once I get the series, so broke out my old copy of Ken's Rage for PS3. Looks nice, good soundtrack, great cutscenes. Main problem is how clunky and slow the combat is. Plays like a Dynasty Warriors type game, but attacking enemies is pretty sluggish.
 
A mix of Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode in Borderlands 2 and Prey (2017).

Addicted to the former, while the latter has been a slow yet engrossing experience so far.
 
Dauntless went live on the PS4, so I'm giving that a shot. It's about what you'd expect from a F2P Monster Hunter clone, with Fortnite battle passes.

Makes me realise just how well realised MH World's creatures are in comparison, though. You can see a natural food chain, power struggles, personalities, etc. In Dauntless they just mince about in a field waiting for Slayers to kill them.

Still waiting on Iceborn dlc to come out for MHW.
Anyways, since none of the new games appeal to me, gone back to play Witcher 3, been literal years since I last played that. Mixed in with some Fallout 4 (another one not played for years, good God does it look uglier than I remember) to break up TW3.

Edit: Oh yeah, Stellaris as well. Still don't know what I'm doing, but it's fun.

The Sims 4 went up for grabs on Origin so I'm spending an hour or five on it.
Slapped "Randomize" for four characters until I got something interesting for each, but the first one really stuck out for some reason.

Dame. I thought Dauntless would scratch the urge, but other than some shiny presentation (it's rewards and meta achievements are very flashy and clearly designed with a slot machine mentality....) there's nothing in there to set it apart from MHW. It's free of course, but...

If it's free, might check it out. Any hidden micro transaction nonsense i.e. need to get gear to win, either grind for 50 hours oooorrrr...pay $20?
Edit: Checked out some trailers, monster design looks uninspired.
 
Monsters don't have a lot of personality, sadly. There's an owl which shrieks like a velociraptor though.

Near as I can tell the money side of it is based around cosmetics and stuff, with an almost identical "Hunt Pass" system thats used in Fortnite and Apex Legends.
 
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. It's not the best game in the world, but I never got around to beating it and I'm trying to use some of my Summer free time to finish the games I didn't complete.

Probably just going to give up on it again, though.
 
FF12 Zodiac Age, I never finished the original because the old license board sucked and made every party member samey. The new job license board forces more specialization, which overall made the game easier, but it is pretty fun and the job system was fun to plan out in excel. Gambit system was a great idea, I wish it existed in other games that force me to use AI controlled party members. I'm trying not to abuse the game too much as if you know how to get the powerful weapons early, the game falls a part really fast except for the very end of post game, but if you're into that FF12 is pretty abusable if you're willing to google a lot of stuff.
 
Forza Horizon 4.

I always buy physical instead of digital but a couple years ago Forza Motorsport 6 was on sale so I bought and downloaded it on a whim. And I hated it. Sim racing games don't do it for me at all. But I'm glad I picked up Horizon 4 a couple months ago. The season changes are a really cool feature that really makes the game.
 
Got through Alpha Protocol again. I truly believe that it would be widely considered one of the greatest games of all time if it had some semblance of competent AI and its broken cover system was fixed. Still love it with all my soul though.

Fired up Yooka-Laylee for the first time today. Pledged to it years ago and just kind of forgot about it. I'm only a few hours in but it's on point so far.
 
Dragon's Dogma. Fucking again.

This time it's the switch version, though, and the combination of the pro controller (which is unironically the best controller I've held since the SNES on multiple levels) and the overall lack of load times is extremely nice. The game does look better upscaled, even if the facial animations are still as batshit as ever.

Server access times, especially after resting, are stupid long though. Upwards of a minute? C'mon, Capcom.
 
Playing Goldeneye 007 and Perfect Dark in 60fps with mouse and keyboard controls in a customized N64 emulator. It's like playing something forbidden.

Wait seriously? Did nintendo fix it or something? that d-pad is the worst they've made since the gamecube's
