Mass Effect 1. A friend of sorts bugged me every time I got on Steam(I play offline SP most of the time in any game)to give BioWare RPGs a shot, and I honestly don't give two shits about the Dragon Age franchise or Andromeda, but I played ME1 on consoles years ago and it was entertaining. This time around I'm aiming to go through the whole trilogy, and I like the whole "save files carry across the games and affect stuff" thing, even if a lot of it is just minor shit like living characters returning, mere mentions of past occurences, etc.

Currently doing NG+ cause I went ahead and looked up all the bonuses I get for things in ME2/3, and I'm aiming for level 60. I hear ME2 plays differently, so looking forward to trying that.
 
I don't really remember where I heard about it but I tried out some weird rpg maker game called Changed. I wasn't really expecting much from it and I figured I'd stop playing it after a little bit but I found it to be surprisingly good. The gameplay mostly consists of avoiding enemies in tense situations because If you get touched by anything, you fail. There are also some difficult puzzles littered about. What mostly kept me interested is the story, however. It actually had a pretty good one. You wake up in a laboratory building high up and you have to escape from the lab and figure out what happened. However, a game like this is weird to talk about because it's partially a softcore fetish game. It inevitably makes it a weird game to recommend or to even mention.
 
Resident Evil 7. Actually trying to play the Not a Hero DLC and while I may of been making decent progress, the game managed to crash as I was fighting molded within the giant machine I was suppose to go into.
 
Thief Gold, just got past the Thieves Guild mission where you explore a labyrinth of a sewer system and then have to steal shit in one mansion and then go back across the labyrinth again to steal stuff from another mansion. This game is awesome but holy shit you can get lost easily if you don't know what you're doing.
 
Playing more Planescape: Torment.

I was kinda on the fence with the game at first, but right around the part with the Dead Nations, the game really started to pick up for me. The writing is crazy good, the characters all interesting and varied, and the combat, while a bit clunky, is pretty fun. I didn't think a floating and talking skull would make for a great tank, but the game has proven me wrong.

I also kinda like how dying is incorporated somewhat in the game's puzzles and situations. You *could* settle the problem between the zombies, ghouls, and that Dustman in order to be able to leave. Or, you can have one of your party members kill you and be able to re-enter and leave the Dead Nations that way.

Can't say I'm too surprised at the quality of this game though. Black Isle Studios did make the original Fallout games after all.
 
Just got Nioh, it's been a while since I've played a game with combat that feels as good as this, it's a nice breath of fresh air. Have also decided to try Mega Man X6 and, yes, it is as shite as it's cracked up to be.
 
Raft. Needs more content but has potential.
 
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows Of Valentia. I'm kind of stuck on the ending.
 
Shadow of War. I only did the first mission before running off and engaging in the Nemesis system and having a blast. From getting killed by one guy, failing to get revenge as he escaped, to getting my revenge, to being ambushed by the guy that turns out he wasn't dead, to cleaving him in half, only to be greeted by him again the first thing I do in the next section to decapitating him and feeling bad knowing he is dead for real this time. Thraka Broken Shield you will be missed.
 
Been playing the Call of Chernobyl mod for Stalker: Call of Pripyat. Starting off with a different character landed me in an apartment above the vine anomaly in Pripyat instead of Cordon. What then proceeded was save scumming and the straddling feeling being a badass and a weak as hell target with just a pistol. Managed to down some zombified STALKERS and Monolith troopers and getting some good weapons in the end, even though they're all in crappy condition.

You have a great taste, Torment's easily my all-time favorite CRPG. The dialogue with Ravel in her maze is insane. Which version are you playing?

I've been going through the Strider game from 2014 for the second time and Sundered. Both are excellent combat-heavy metroidvania type games.

The original via GOG.

Came with the Enhanced Edition which apparently has some issues so I decided to play the older version.

I still have my 4-CD version I got from my parents waaay back in 1999 (I'm eternally grateful to that chick working at the cashier who had helped convince them that It'd be an excellent complimentary material for studying English). I'm not certain it sitll works with the GOG version, but you can download a deleted quest and the absolutely devious Tome o' Cheats if you're interested:

Been replaying Resident Evil Rev 2. Way prefer it to Rev 1. Rev 1 was cheesy, but not in the typical funny RE way. It was just bad. The characters were so god-awful that it made the game hard to play. But Rev2 really saves a lot of it. Playing as Barry and all of his puns is just wonderful and I really like the mechanics while playing as Natalia as well. I was never a big fan of Moira, but she's not as offensive as each character from Rev1 so it's all good.
I just really like this game, feels like it should be more praised by RE fans.
Also been playing through the Sega Megadrive Collection. The new one for PS4. Beat Shining Force on it and started the second one. It's a cute little collection.
 
Royal Envoy 2, and Darkness 2 when my stomach can take it. Royal Envoy is a time management game, and is a thoroughly non threatening G rated game where you have to rebuild towns with specific goals and resources. Darkness 2 is an old fps, where you creatively murder your enemies and eat their hearts. My favourite methods are killing mooks at a distance by slicing them to pieces with a thrown air conditioner fan blade, or by skewering them with a javelin of some description.

I play mostly casual games, hidden object or time management or similar. The Darkness 2 is at the limit of my abilities courtesy of motion sickness. I remember vividly getting worked up over the Batman Asylum game and having to give up after ten minutes because I was going to be sick everywhere. I'm not been able to play any fps that has come out after the early 2000s, which fucking sucks. I also have a learning disorder. All in all I'm very limited in what I can play, but nevertheless I love computer games. Sad but true. (And yes, I have tried consoles, but I get still get motion sickness from them as well.)
 
Got the bite to play ARPG again. Didn't feel like PoE or Diablo II for the millionth time so I decided to boot up and finish Torchlight II.
