At least I made $75 overall selling all my console games (except Bloodborne and The Last of Us: Non-Tranny Retcon Edition)

The AI ends up giving you nonsensical, bizarre and flat out suicidal orders that'll lead you from doing literally nothing or moving around the battlefield in pointless and bizarre ways for no reason, to suddenly ordering you into impossible to hold, suicidally insane positions and as soon as you get positioned orders you to retreat, leaving you even more vulnerable and to you immediately getting your unit slaughtered. My unit started with 750 infantry and lost all but 16 in seconds cause of that shit

Are there any mods that unfuck the game? Because as I understand this shit is like Empire Total War in that its playable but semi-broken.

I caved and bought Black Flag Resynced.

I haven't bought an Ubisoft game since Blood Dragon, and checked out of AC long ago, so this was kind of a big deal in terms of compromising my principles.

Immediately you have to sign up for an account with Ubisoft. The registration system is bugged so it took about ten minutes of troubleshooting before I was even able to make an account. When it launches, you're not in the game menu, you're in a menu advertising all the other recent AC entries as well as tabs to acquire DLC. I thought they had abandoned the concept of an all-in-one launcher when they underwent leadership turnover at Ubisoft but apparently not.

The whole presentation before even launching the game just makes me feel icky, like I'm doing something I'm not supposed to be doing.

I think I was only properly in-game for five minutes.

I think i'm going to refund it.
