I had to give up Paper Mario TTYD a few days ago because I stopped dualbooting (I fucking hate Windows) and Dolphin on Linux seems not-so-good. Allah forgive me, I restarted Pokemon Violet instead and I plan to play the DLC soon. I'll play something based like Digimon Cyber Sleuth after to make up for it
 
Just played the Snufkin Melody of Moominvalley demo. It's alright so far. The only major criticism is the mechanics of Snufkin's harmonica were way to simple to ever be engaging. It needs to be something comparable like how Zelda musical instruments function. Besides that it's worth a try. Still looking forward to when the full game comes out.

As for me, got 2

1. World of Warships. Upgraded my South American Cruiser to tier 5 this morning. Hits hard but poor armor, a bit of a glass cannon, needs upgrading.

2. Witch on the Holy Night visual novel
Have it on my switch, and it's pretty cozy to curl up on the couch with a pillow and blanket and just read. The fact it's on my switch probably means I'm going to get thru it fast, since it's pretty optimized for it, and barely taps the battery.
 
Playing Baldur's Gate 1 as a Cleric and just got Summon Skeleton and it's making me love the game more. Even if they aren't great there's just something about playing necromancer and having a bunch of skeletons running around that's fun.

As a fellow Disgaea autist, you know the true answer to that question already. I haven't been actively keeping up with 7, so that's a pleasant surprise.


Some friends got me back into Guild Wars 2 so I decided to go back after a long hiatus. I stopped playing shortly before the 2nd expansion dropped, and it's been nice seeing all the changes the game has made since I last played.

Probably doesn't help that my first experiences of GW2 were on a Dell laptop that was by no means was equipped to handle gaming in any capacity, so it's been a trip doing World v World without the framerate being reduced to a PowerPoint presentation.

Really makes me wish I could go back and experience the game as a fresh new thing when I still had free time and a sizable guild to do content and shoot the shit in Teamspeak with. I haven't played an MMO that's captured that magic for me since they shut down WildStar.
 
Been replaying the Halo games via the MCC on PC.

I’m just gonna come out and say it. Halo 2 is the worst of the Bungie developed titles. Good gosh, all the signs of a rushed and hellish development shows completely in the campaign, given just how poorly designed and unbalanced the levels are.

Disgaea 7 plays far more like 5 than 6, some things haven't been carried over from the fall that was 6 mechanically but its certainly a massive improvement, Menus are faster and auto battle isn't pushed so hard, I'll probably buy it legit because i want access to the D.I "Multiplayer" arena that you obviously cannot use on a pirated version.

Still on World of Warships. Playing North Carolina again reminds you how thin skinned that fuckers armor is. Sure it has 16-inch guns. You never get to use them unless you use your spotting planes and camp FAR out of range. I can't wait till Iowa.

In contrast, American Cruisers and DD's hit like trucks. Helena with its FIFTEEN 6 inch guns justs pummels everything, battleships included, and lights it on fire until you've done as much damage as a battleship.
 
Fallout New Vegas with the viva Vegas mod pack and a few others (~150 mods). Playing on hardcore mode and it's as fun and crash prone ever.

Also played a few rounds of Titanfall 2 since its matchmaking is working again. I may be in the minority here, but I preferred the multiplayer of Titanfall 1 over 2.
 
Started playing Forza Motorsport since it released today. I keep on forgetting that Motorsport isn't like Horizon and I can't just chuck a Mustang around a corner and not expect the back end of it to spin out and send me into the wall. It's gonna take some getting used to getting back into "sim" racing again, but so far, I'm enjoying it.

Raising the difficulty to Very Hard also helps make the game more fun.
 
I tried some of the demos from steam next fest. My favourites were Robocop: Rogue City, American Arcadia, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, and Talos Principle 2 (excited for that one).

I recommend the Time Survivors demo on Next Fest. Pretty good Survivors clone where you can play as Abe Lincoln with a flail. The solid gameplay backs up the quirk.

Been getting into Titanfall 2 after several years of just having gone through the campaign once.

I gotta say, I see why it is so fondly remembered. It is easily now one of my favorite shooters from the 2010s.
