Shake vodka, lemon juice, limoncello, simple (if using unsweetened iced tea), orange bitters. Pour it out into a tall glass of ice until its half full, top it off with iced tea (I used homemade cold brew) stir a little to mix
Their bourbon's a safer bet but I never tried the rye before so I said fuck it, why not. Kinda underhwelming compared to some other ryes I've tried but 47% alcohol by volume for the price is still an ok deal.
Monte Antico Toscana, a very pleasant blend of 85% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet, and 5% Merlot. It's not easy to find a pure Sangiovese but this is the next best thing.
It's been the kind of week that calls for more than beer/cider so I grabbed some Finlandia. In my opinion it's about the best vodka one can find for <$20/fifth. Sobieski is my super cheap choice but I'm finding the extra $5 or so more than worth it. It's a hell of a lot smoother than Skyy and doesn't remind me of college days like Pinnacle would.
