I'm referring to smalltown Southern negros, not the ones in New Orleans obviously. It seems like the niggers are usually the ones from big cities like L.A, Baltimore and NYC. I've never personally met a rural Southern black but from what I've seen and heard, they seem like a bunch of fairly chill, old-timey religious folks. Some of the older ones even seem to have a bit of a grandfatherly attitude.

Just as trashy as their white neighbors. They live in trailer parks and drive trucks. Biggest difference is they are often completely unintelligible even by the standards of southerners or their fellow blacks. Most are unemployed and on welfare since the cotton plantations have almost exclusively used illegals since the 90s. I remember a teacher in school from that part of the country tell me a story about how shocked she was driving past cotton fields in the South and not seeing a single black person there like she used to see when she was a girl, it was all Hispanics.

I've also heard that city blacks don't like them and think they're a bunch of hicks.

Cotton is picked with machines and has been since the 1930s. Not many spics on cotton "plantations" either. Labor-intensive crops like strawberries, tomatoes, citrus, lots of beaners harvesting those down here in Florida. Emphasis on harvesting, the rest of the process is highly automated.

From talking to Yankees that moved here they are considerably more polite and easygoing. They have elevated crime rates like they do in the North, similar backwardness in other ways, similar work habits, but they are friendly as opposed to hostile. I see Southern Whites and Southern Blacks in the same churches, restaurants, and other spaces interacting way more than I see Northern Whites interacting with Southern Blacks (I'm in a university town).

Cotton hasn't been the main Southern crop since, like, the 30s at the latest. It's mostly a mixture of different food crops with a preponderance of soy and peanuts. The small rural economies are focused on light manufacturing, too. Rural industry, as opposed to an agrarian economy.

Surprisingly polite and pleasant. I've lived in the Northeast most of my adult life where blacks are surly and entitled at best and downright dangerous at worst. When I lived briefly in Atlanta, they were totally different from what I expected as long as you stayed away from the inner city ones. Avoid that triangle formed by the I-285, I-75, and I-20 though, that's basically an open air baboon habitat.

Submissive and Breakable, especially when you get the Buck-O-Tron 9000 out the shed

I went travelling through America over the summer and I found them to be generally alright. They’re also a lot different to the blacks in the north and in Cali which I found surprising. Small sample size of course but the ones I met were polite, decent people who (much like other southerners) had good manners and were willing to help a tourist they didn’t know.

If you go into a black area in a Southern city you’ll definitely see nigardry though. Think no supermarkets, gas stations with a clerk behind bulletproof glass and fried chicken restaurants only. I didn’t run into very many polite nogs outside of the south either.

Última edición:
They're pretty much the same. They'll be overreactionary, entitled and tribalistic. Also working with them can be a nightmare. That said, the older ones (40s and up) can be pretty cool at times. They'll also call out niggerish shit when they see it and will not browbeat you all the time. Some don't even give a shit if you drop a "nigga" every now and then. Also even the younger ones will say how Kanye "is speaking the truth" without giving a shit. So that's pretty nice.

Depends on where you go. Ghetto niggetry is the same everywhere. Country blacks are usually cool as hell, if sometimes lazier than you would imagine them to be. Other black people in the south are a bit different if looked at as a group, generally more chill around whites, at least the older ones because of history, mainly. Other than the hoodrats, it's all about the individual, as usual.
