appreciate the recommendations. also eww, dubs are gross, but not for the reason you might think. the nuanced emotions of the original voice actors get lost in translation in alot of anime's i've watched with dubs, so i just stopped watching dubs altogether.

I'm a card carrying anime hater, but I was not entirely offended by cowboy bebop, one punch man (also created Mob Psycho), or paranoia agent (also created a bunch of other stuff). If you've got slightly more gayness tolerance Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is acceptable, and the first two seasons of Bleach.

cowboy bebop is a classic, and One Punch Man is good. Haven't watched Made in Abyss yet but have heard its kinda fucked up and yeah the creator... ugh.
