These people are stupid. I used to do photography. Let me tell you that unless you have a dedicated camera like a dslr or mirrorless that produces uncompressed RAW images, maybe even some phones, JPEGs and other forms of compressed images will always have some form of artifact. These artifacts usually form around areas of high contrast and repeating pixels.
Even if you have the uncompressed RAW files or uncompressed image files, Twitter and other social media sites will compress them for you to their standard.
