>The actress who was going to play Blossom ducked out.
On the contrary, this is hilarious news. It’s as if god himself is telling them that this is a bad idea.
Chloe Bennet left the Powerpuff girls reboot. Good to hear she had some sense

the biggest irony is that counts for original content as well. there might be a lot of competition, if you do NOT produce shit, that alone will generate an audience with how shit everything else is.
Case in fucking point: Inside Job, as pointed out above:

Can we get more cartoons that don't have generic, simplified blobs for characters? Please? The only recent one that's done so (that I've seen) is the surprisingly good Green Eggs & Ham adaptation. That's it. "IT COSTS MONEY THO". So?! If you can spend $5 million an episode to make GE&H look as good as it does, you can do that for at least a couple more cartoons. And the plot....
From convoluted coverups to secret societies to masked orgy etiquette, navigating office culture at Cognito Inc. can be tricky, especially for anti-social tech genius Reagan Ridley (Lizzy Caplan). Even in a workplace filled with reptilian shapeshifters and psychic mushrooms, she's seen as the odd one out for believing the world could be a better place. Reagan thinks she can make a difference, if only she could manage her unhinged, manifesto-writing father Rand (Christian Slater) and her irresponsible coworkers, and finally snag the promotion she's been dreaming about.
Yet another "HYPER-COMPETENT WAHMAN IS KEPT DOWN BY EVIL MEN HURR DURR" plot. Even though Alex Hirsch is executive producing this, expectations are mighty low.
Edit: I forgot Invincible in the "cartoons that don't look like shit" department, like a dumbass.

This just seems to be a thing with adult animation for some reason. I instantly thought of Rick and Morty and/or Family Guy,

"Get this, we make a cartoon, but it’s for grownups, so the characters swear and it's essentially a sitcom. I'm sure this has never been done before."

"Right, but the animation has to be stilted and the art style must be horrible so that it doesn't overshadow the writing."

Lame artstyle aside, the premise sounds pretty fun. But let's be honest, what are the chances of then making at least a single joke about ZOG in the [current_year]?

Because Rick and Morty.

Seriously, that show is just the shittiest episode of Rick and Morty... FOR A WHOLE SEASON!

And a hint of Paradise PD (THE FUNNIEST COMEDY SHOW EVAH)

No, I meant this specific version is based on Simon’s since he’s cured now. Simon is still writing fanfiction despite not being insane anymore.
That makes more sense given the finale of the original show. Never did get around to watching it, but I know the broad strokes. Lich, Golb and such.

Finn really got shafted in his own show in the later seasons. Went from the protagonist to almost secondary character and got shit on a lot.
