It was the only good Minions/ Despicable Me I have seen in my lifetime. This is more proof that clown world is here. I tried watching Despicable Me 1 and 2 ages ago and turned that shit off about midway in both movies.

Everyone cartoon reviewer says that the first despicable me is the best illumination movie, I question why? Its not the best animated (not even for the time it released) and they all say that the story is perfect because there are less minion shenanigans, but I honestly don't like the Despicable Me movies at all. (I genuinely cannot stand schaffrillas productions)

Something you see with media review types is that they're more than willing to rip into something for being bad but they are far more selective when it comes to proclaiming that they like something, often because they're incapable of explaining why they think something is good but also because they're cowardly and unwilling to themselves be called out for having shit taste. So they'll often tend to all like the same things which are carefully selected from a list of vetted films and TV shows that are okay to like as voted by public opinion.

Despicable Me is on that list of Things That Are OK To Think Are Good.
