I like Cartoon Saloon so maybe there's more to it than what I've seen, but I'm really not into this. Even if I was a kid watching this I would think it was way too twee and gay, but I guess it's nice that people that would like this sort of thing have a movie for it. There's this weird tendency to be happy for other people just because a movie was made that they can kind of relate to.

Everything Cartoon Saloon has made that wasn't about Irish mythology has kind of been mediocre, so it's already off to a bad start.

That being said, they're also releasing a movie that's about a boxer in the early days of Irish immigration, and that one looks really cool. So I'll go watch that and the people that want this can have this.

Here's what bothers me with indie animation. Where the hell did all the stickman fights animators go?
Why wasn't the guy who made this:

given his own series that's just 12 minute episodes of mindless but well choreographed martial arts fights?
Doesn't even have to be martial arts, who do I have to fund to get more tacticool action powerfantasy in the vein of Astartes? I know it'll never be on that quality but I at least want beefy FACELESS(important) supersoldiers carving swathes through disposable cultists and demons again.
