If I'm being painfully honest here there not THAT bad, I'd put 'em on the same level as Ren and Stimpy's. I give 'em props for giving Ed a chase in the form of Pebble-in-Shoe Ed but they get a thumbs-down for making Sarah POP in general (and it's a Funko Shop exclusive on top that).

How are these still a thing? Beanie babies WISHES it had the staying power pops had.

Personal shit is fine when it's balanced, but Young Justice ended up having a billion new characters so each one felt less unique as a result.

The original comment was that Martian Girl had tranny implications for her true form which is false and I'm glad my friend told me never to watch the new season when they brought it back.

They’re cheap to make and Funko is willing to pay for good licenses.

Just be thankful that Nintendo has the scruples to say no to Funko’s requests for a license.And no, they didn’t have a hand in giving Funko got the license to make Pokémon POPs. That one’s on The Pokémon Company International’s hands.

This is the most badly aged comic I've read, not because it's racist or anything but by all metric Anime has wiped Cartoon's ass in humiliating fashion. This comic has to be some form of satire at the cost of cartoons because it wasn't written in any form of irony it blatantly projecting.

It's known for being a project that pissed off Roy E Disney to the point of him dropping the ban hammer on it during production for not being suitable for children.

It actually feels like a combination of Zootopia, Cats Don't Dance, Igor, and Foodfight. The video's description has a link to a Drawing for Nothing article that's pretty informative. Ella reminds me of Bing Bong from Inside Out in some of her concept art.

Keep in mind depending on exactly when in the late 90s they started working on it, the only cgi animated films were toy story 1 and 2, antz and bugs life. Even for Disney having only a handful of examples to work off and zero help from their once golden goose pixar left them facing an uphill battle.
