Maybe Disney should have allocated a better budget unless they thought that people would only watch it on the fact that is spiderman (which is true but holy shit that you can tell this was made on the cheap). Though I have hear that the only reason this new series is a thing is because Disney needed to do something in order to keep the tv rights of the character, which could make sense as to why they didn't want to waste that much money on it.

Ahhh the classic "we need to do something with these character copyrights so nobody else can have them." Logic. Quality be damaged it worked out so well in tye past didn't it?

Troon or not, that is a MAN'S voice coming out of a body of a kid. Shit was so jarring when I played that video last page and heard it for the first time.

Which is baffling since with very few exceptions (chowder, gumball. And bluey) adults voice kid characters in animation all the time.


It's one thing for trans vas to not even try to sound like the gender they "identify" as but when adults vas don't even try to sound like kids? Is it any wonder the normies STILL don't take animation or voice acting seriously?

Its even weird too since the show was already pegged as woke just for the Osborns alone. Side note but Norman Osborn should only be white, making him black because he has waves is just dumb. Like fine make Harry mixed race, but Norman Osborn should always be white for the same reason Patrick Bateman should be.

It's mostly the framerate shit and the abundance of non-white characters sticking out like a sore thumb. I have no idea what Spidey's VA is trying to accomplish, but it smacks of pandering to the right...for whatever reason.

There was the 2017 Spiderman, and that was pretty bad. Granted, I never watched Ultimate, but 2017 asked questions nobody ever asked. Questions like what if every single character was as smart as Peter, and also got spider powers, what if we made Otto Octavius a teenager, what if Harry was the hobgoblin and was a good guy? It got so bad the third season had less than half the episode order of the previous 2 which had 26 each before it was thankfully shit canned.
