Saw Garf-meme yesterday. What a trip, cannot believe Quinton cried at this film.
The entire plot is a daddy-issues narrative. Pretty sure Garfield is now black-coded given that his father:

- Abandoned him as a kitten to let white man raise his kid.
- Is an ex-con and part of a gang
- Main plot happens because Garfield’s dad messed with a fat white woman.
- Played by Samuel L. Jackson
- Plot is centered around him toughening up Garfield so they can steal shit.
Movie begins with Garfield being abandoned by dad, only to find a lonely Jon and become his pet. Cut to montage of him living like a king with John, the adoption of Odie, and him using Odie as a servant.
Garfield and Odie then get captured by two dogs who tie them up in an abandoned mall. Garfield’s dad Vic then saves them. Afterwards, the villain, a white cat named Jinx, reveals herself. She was an old partner of Vic who got sent to the pound during a milk heist and now wants revenge of Vic by making him collect a bottle of milk for every day he she was in the pound, and she forces Garfield and Odie to join because.
The group decides to raid the old family farm Vic left Jinx at, only to realize it has been bought out by a mega-corp who have upped security. In realizing this, the group find Otto, the old mascot for the farm, recently going through a depression after being exiled. They learn that the mega-corp split up him and his love, Ethel, so they join forces to get the milk and Ethel.
Training ensues, and Vic and Garfield come to an emotional breakthrough as Vic never left Garfield, he was just waiting for a chef at the pizza place to get off a phone call so he can loot the trash and get baby Garfield some food. By the time he gets back, Jon already took in Garfield, so Vic decides to let Jon raise his kid.
After breakthrough, it is heist time. During the heist, they go up against Marge, who is basically a poor man’s Dubois (Madagascar 3). Anyway, Jinx alerts Marge ahead of time as she just wanted to get Vic sent to the pound. Vic bails on his kid and completes the milk mission while leaving Garfield, Odie and Otto behind.
At the pound, Garfield gets rescued by Jon, but not before the cats, associated with Vic, speak about his father bailing during heists to watch Garfield at dinner time in a tree across the street. Garfield finds the tree and the emotional moment occurs as Garfield sees all the tics his farther carved into the tree to count all the times he visits. Vic left Garfield and Odie as he knew Jon would get them, whereas Jinx would kill them if brought along.
Garfield then goes to save his dad from Jinx who is about to throw him off a train, off a bridge, into a pit of spikes. Garfield uses the skills his dad taught him plus drone pizza deliveries, established in intro, to save his dad, but they mess up and still get caught. Randomly, because they are at peace when faced with death, Jinx two henchmen decide they cannot kill them and turn on the cat.
Movie ends with the Garfield giving Jinx to Marge in exchange for Ethel. The two hench dogs now work for Marge, and Garfield brings his father into his life with Jon.
Second movie teased at end credits…

Jon white-washed him obviously. Glad Garfield’s dad came back to teach Jr and cuck Jon by spending his money at the end.
Weirdly, they never show his mom. Definitely thought the white cat would be the mother, but nah.

Unpopular opinion: Did not mind Cans Without Labels. It reminds me of living with my dad lol.Who also worked on John K.'s Cans Without Labels.
Yeah the animation and sound mixing are unacceptably bad for an industry veteran but, idk, it's John K doing the 50s music and funny faces. Too bad he touched that little girl.

May I remind you that Cans Without Labels was a short film that took 9 years to make and it still looked like ass. Both animated movies being 1959's Sleeping Beauty and 2009's Redline also took the exact number of years, and they both turned out great

Maybe it's cause I only knew him for his early stuff and the 3+ hour retrospectives on long running shows which are probably his "best" work qiote unquote, but now I see what you and others see in that little mick.
The fairly odd parents has gone from being on life support to a corpse being puppeted around by a desperate network but they also think you slap some paint and air freshener on the corpse and it won't stink as bad. And yet this little mick bastard a d his audience if the comments are to be believed is praising it because the leads a jungle bunny and has a gender special for a bestie.

I don't know, I think what he said was okay. Remember, this cartoon is only one week old so don't hate on him yet, for his opinion on the FOP 2nd Reboot. Just wait, until the cartoon is on digital, then watch it and see what you think.

I don't think the reboot is anything worth praising for either but I can agree with LSmark and say it is a step in the right direction. With all the garbage we got beforehand, this reboot is comparatively fine if a little bland so far. At this point I'll easily take the reboot with the sugary sweet niglet over the mess that was the live action show and movies. I don't think it's an unreasonable stance to be a bit hopeful for the reboot.
Be the change you change you want to be in this world. If you think he's controversial enough for a thread then you should go for it.
I double checked and so far the comments are relieved that the new show isn't a hot dumpster fire. A low bar for sure but people take what they can get, even if the new episodes we got this week weren't that good.

So The Casagrandes movie came out 2 months ago.
No I don't blame you if you forgot or didn't know there was a movie to a dead, canceled show since 2 years ago at all.
Sorry, no can do. The last time I've made a lolcow thread, which was the Chris Stuckman thread, it was a total disaster. It was my first and only time creating an actual lolcow here on the farms, and never again. Probably it's best to seek someone else to do it for us instead
