I stopped watching the Cryptid ice bergs because the videos themselves were shit. He had ZERO enthusiasm for the project which made the videos boring as fuck.

It's not just that it was half assed, it was also very biased towards the Americas and repetitive. It does a good job in showing how the whole concept isn't unique and there are dime a dozen variations in every region.

It could be him wanting to avoid a repeat by milking everything he can to create a nest egg so he can immediately retire once his YouTube dries up and still have enough to make sure Tonka is set for life. I know a lot of Meat's money goes into his studio and expensive props and Wendi is having a small studio built too on his property so maybe we will see a jump in production level as he invests back into his shows.

The optimistic answer is that he actually donates 80% of his wealth to charities/churches and doesn't tell anyone, because that's the Christian way to go about it.
