The drain in my sink was a hole I could see through to the ground outside the building (the WC was on the 2nd floor). Then it was a gaping hole due to construction that I could walk through (now the bathroom was on the first floor).

Dreams can't into consistency.

edit to add: that's not the weirdest dream I've ever had by a long shot.

I had this dream where I hosted this huge party in a warehouse I was working at. I invited basically everyone I knew to the party, friends, family, etc. I laid out these paper plates, which I was going to put cake on.

But instead of cake, I pulled out a sack filled with spiders. They were generic, black spiders, but they were the size of the plates. I put them on all the plates and ushered in my guests.

They were all disgusted and left. idk why but I thought it was socially acceptable to feed everyone spiders, but when they reacted poorly it's like I remembered that it wasn't a socially acceptable thing to serve people spiders. I walked around the dockyard where the Warehouse was located for a while, and then I woke up.

Note: This was a Codeine fueled fever dream.

I had a dream where I was having sex with my mom. Then the beeping started. I tried to turn off the alarm on my phone but no matter what I couldn't make the beeping go away. My family came in the room and started yelling at me to turn off my phone. I keep trying to silence my phone but nothing works. I keep dropping my phone. I start screaming because the beeping wont stop.

I wake up, turn the alarm on my phone off, lay back down, and think.

I've had several.

The worst is a reoccurring dream that I've had since junior high where I get several tooth aches in my mouth. The pain and throbbing get so bad that my teeth actually crack into several pieces and fall out into my mouth.

I've also had several bad drug induced dreams/hallucinations where I believe the universe is slowing to a stop, reverses, and ends with me being dead and stuck in a perpetual Hell where I have to relieve horrible things that I have done, as well as things other people have done, to atone for my sins.

I have this reoccurring dream where I wake up in one of those long term hotels, but a shitty one. Cheap carpet, floral sofa, TV chained to the wall, and a little mini kitchen. I get upset because this is clearly not my apartment and my dogs are gone. I go outside and see that the hotel are in these long blocks on dirt lots. My boyfriend is there, and he gets angry that I'm upset about the dogs and being in some weird place. We get on his motorcycle (My boyfriend has never ridden a motorcycle) and go to look for the dogs. Riding over the dirt causes a lot of bumping and jarring, and I start gritting my teeth. At some point my teeth fuse together, and I reach up and just pull this wad of teeth out of my mouth like dentures. My tongue hangs out of my mouth and I can't talk, and my boyfriend starts yelling at me for screaming and making gross noises.

That's usually when I wake up. I have this dream at least once a week, for months now. My boyfriend thinks it's funny, considering how fastidious I am about brushing and maintaining my teeth. He sucks.

Back in 2011. A few days after getting married to Kate Middleton, Prince William paid me a visit at a garden shed I don’t own, dressed in full military regalia, simply to ask if he could borrow some pepper and dried herbs.

I had killer jetlag after coming back from the other side of the world. It gave me this feverish dreaming sleep in the middle of the day. I doing a phonecall for my new job and I just kept forgetting what I had to do, and they started almost screaming at me. I was very embarrassed at my dream. When I woke up I had a piece of paper with an appointment. A time and a date. It was before mobile phones, so I had no phone number. It didn't have a location on it. When I called the new job where I would be starting in a week from then, they didn't know anything about someone calling me. I was sure I had to go to some appointment, but for the life of me, I couldn't tell what, so I could only wait with dread until the time and date rolled around to find out what appointment I had missed.

Apparently it was a payroll company that did the contracts for my new job which none of the people I was directly involved with at my new job knew about. Great first impression. I can only imagine what kind of impression my sleep addled slurred speech gave. They said I sounded like a drug addict and they glanced at me odd whenever I saw them until they chilled out after 2 years of me not doing anything too weird.

ALL my dreams are weird.

These I remember best:

Not long after I read Stephen Kings' story The Mangler, dreamt I was with my oldest son in an abandoned building, and a group of Mafia-type men were standing around an industrial mangler, running at full speed, asking me "Who is going in first, you or the boy?"
I don't think I slept for the rest of the night after that one. Had to check on the cheeselet to make sure he was OK.

The others I remember best, I have sleep paralysis, and the Zenomorph from Alien is standing in a corner of the room watching me.

One that has really stuck with me involved time travel back to the early 1980s where I helped some people solve a murder in the area I live. At one point I had my phone with me and took a picture of the city's skyline because it was such an unbelievable sight. It ended with the murder solved and me saying goodbye to them and returning to the present. However, I remembered I had those photos on my phone and went to find one of them and show them.

Right when I was heading over to the house of one of the guys I knew back then to show him, I woke up.

I ended up looking up photos from that time period. What I saw was correct for that year, but it was from a completely different angle. There was no way to create an image from where I took that photo based on any of these. I still have no explanation for this, or what may have triggered it. Maybe my mind filled in the gaps by triangulating the current view from that spot and historical images I had seen before but the sheer accuracy of everything else makes no sense.

This was the first time I was really convinced there are some strange things out there beyond our current understanding. There was no weird or bizarre dream stuff and even the smallest things I could remember were accurate to that time period. Clothing, furniture, electronics, art, advertising, music, you name it.

Probably the strangest dream I've had involving a girl happened with a Jewish girl I knew at the time.

The scene was something like this. I'm walking through a cobbled street in a mildly old fashioned town. I see her off in the distance and begin to shadow her. She enters a UPS and leaves with a package. We coincide and start a conversation. We're walking the cobbles when out of nowhere a massive car bomb goes off. I find myself surrounded in a shadow of grey ash, in the middle of the street. I look down and see her body but not quite. Seeing two figures standing some meters away, horror in their faces, I scream for help, yelling "Medic!" Losing my composure I collapse down in my own blood, dying. I then wake up.

Now, I liked this girl at the time, and it's not unusual, especially then, for a girl like that to invade my dreams. I still don't know why "car bomb" was my brain's choice. I still remember it and I'm still confused.
