It really isn't that hard to lose weight and maintain a healthy one if you give a shit. If you can't learn how to schedule balanced meals (recommend chicken, veggies, beans, and water over and over with occasional, limited bread to not cut out carbs completely), commit yourself to stoic virtue, and eat to live rather than live to eat, then go to a doctor and get some medication that can help you stick to a diet. And when you've gotten to a good point, keep good habits. If you have psychological problems, pursue the introspective thought and clinical help necessary to overcome them.

Anything can be done if you have the mind for it. Those who say otherwise are the ones who trick themselves into failing.
