... "Do you plan on selling these shirts." ...

We've come to a crossroads, my friends. In an Interview about Chris, Harry Partridge once stated that if Chris would just privately host his videos and have a subscription fee for them, he'd be making a tidy little profit over it.

Jace has come to this point.

A way his internet shenanigans can make money. To be honest... I would seriously consider buying a Deagle Nation shirt. It's like an Ironic T-Shirt, just on a LolCow level.

I don't know what sort of profits he'd be looking at, but I figure if he started selling Deagle Nation material, he could make some money. He could make a lot of money if he was more laid back/didn't take himself so seriously, and was willing to sell it as a sort of inside joke item.

But alas, if he did that, he wouldn't be Jace.

So the question becomes, will he, in the thoughts that it'd be a sign of respect, sell Deagle Nation merchandise and start making some money, maybe even start to move away form the Government money, or will he conclude that it is gay and only real Marines should be allowed to wear Deagle Nation shirts and only sell them to people who prove their loyalty.

Only time will tell.

I remembered something kinda funny that happened in the stream. Someone started asking him about his time in the Marines and Jace stated that he served in the 42nd Division. Well, the Marines only have four divisions so thats a probably from the start. However, there is a 42nd Infantry Division of the National Guard. This division's emblem is, of course, a rainbow. The rainbow is used today as a symbol of the LGBT movement, and Jace mentioned his division shortly after sleeping with John Cena. Jace confirmed homosexual.

42nd's Wikipedia. Their history is actually pretty interesting.

God damn. I thought he was playing the Sims wrong when I saw things like "Tyce thinks Jace is being very impolite" "Rahg! I kill you!" but... God fucking damn. He just attacked his butler because someone told him she was a spy... When she tried to quit cheated so she couldn't, and now he's holding her in a fucking secret dungeon preparing to torture her.

What am I watching...

That fucking contrast.... One minute... "I've worked really hard trying to make this a really cool place for Gamers to hang out." the next "Yeah! Fucking torture dungeon, bitch!"

Not everyone would be buying them "ironically". If I ever saw a Deagle Nation shirt in the wild it would be a game of guessing whether the wearer is in on the joke or is the joke.

My god, the last 3 minutes of the stream had my wife and I unable to speak from laughing so hard. Also, my wife's first comment on him was 'there has to be something physically wrong with him, I've never seen anyone almost throw up as much as this guy'

I don't know what the problem is, but at one point in the stream Jace said he had intestinal issues.

if someone can give me timecodes i can edit this down to a "best of" reel.

which may be just the whole thing.......

Well there's the problem. You don't wear it in public. That's just silly. You wear it at home when you want to stare at yourself in the mirror and feel like a Real Marine.

Late to the party, I know...

Seriously, though, I wonder if Jace would play The Sims 3 better if he didn't live with his mom and believe everything just happens automatically to him?

In both of these streams, the game just trolls him because he just does half-assed shit to get his bare necessities done, goes having awesome adventures instead, and doesn't realise that things that have been left half-way have consequences. (Skip the job too many times? The Mureens fire your ass. Leave toasts in the oven? Fire hazard.)

OK, I was watching the last part of the stream again (so much funny!) and it appears the Strykers had a son, and because of Jack's abusiveness, it was born with the couch potato and slob traits. Meryl and Baby Fatty were outside when the shack burnt down so they survived (until Stryker runs out of funny fags then they're getting stabbed for drug money).

This quote is funnier in retrospect.
Yeah. A hour in the stream and I had already lost count how many times he had popped the cheat menu. And he still lost everything.

I've often been mad at EA, particularly about how they ran down some old-school developers (Origin Systems, Bullfrog, Maxis, etc), and about their whole business process in recent years, even if they've occasionally managed to publish some pretty neat games.
But after these streams? *very very vague thumbs up*

Yeah, I've never had any interest in any of the Sims games, but suddenly after this stream I think I understand the appeal a little better.

In all fairness, I don't think most people use The Sims to pretend to destroy their enemies, but I do think the general idea still translates.

They don't. Most of the time it's to make their avatar fuck the guy/girl they fancy but are too shy/socially awkward/neck beardy to ask out in real life.

I make Sims of TV and animu characters to see what kind of wacky adventures they'll have when they live together. That's much less socially awkward and nerdy than what you're suggesting! *yawn*

Yeah I once made an exact replica of the house and characters in Bottom, Richie and Eddie ended up beating each other up and living in squalor, just like the show!
