If someone's bringing up DBZ Abridged to him after he's already had one tantrum over them, I'm tempted to say someone was trying to deliberately needle him over it. Maybe that's optimistic, but I sure hope it's the case.

Going back to this post again, I find it infuriating how easy it is to debunk these claims against Vic and yet ISWV spergs (the ones who remain anyway) won't even bother to reference/show anything we find/archive here in this thread. It's actually depressing how something this easy gets screwed up by utterly incompetent people or is flat out ignored.
The funny thing here is Dave Merrill was one of the heads of Anime Weekend Atlanta. The convention where Monica Rial told a story about a knock on a door that saved her from Vic was at Izumicon. The person who was supposed to pack her claim, Stan Dahlin, said it never happened. Stan also was in charge of booking guests at AWA during this timeframe.
Like I said before, it's utterly infuriating how easy it is to debunk this stuff. I really, REALLY want a rewrite of the opening post so stuff like this is more easily accessible instead of having to comb through over 5500+ pages of discussions/archives to find it.
This is why the lawsuit was so important for Vic to win. It was his only chance to salvage his career and reputation. Yes, he had a lot support at first but after 6 years and the destruction of his lawsuit, the court of public opinion on him is mostly negative now. I see very few people actually trying to defend him nowadays and the few spergs that do so aren't very good at it. That, and his follower count on his X account keeps going down.
