She's different enough from the standard anime dub voice actors for me. They all sound the same. It's grating because I'm a damn weeb that got spoiled from the range they simply provide in JA voice acting.

The voice actors guild of America I have a burning hatred for. The bastards are generic sounding enough and have a union contract limiting companies from hiring outside of their permission. Yet that wasn't good enough for them. They want royalties now, that's what that union strike is all about. It's a standard practice for companies to lay off programmers after a game is finished to maximize profits. If anyone should get the royalties it's them. if she isn't in the guild, good on her and I hope other people notice her.
What is this guy on? My experience with nipponese voice actors are they're actually less flexible than the west and you'll pretty much only really hear like five types of voices at most.

Male voice actors have roughly the same range, but female Japanese voice actors (and the English dubs that try to emulate them) only have two settings: way too high pitched squeaking and way too high pitched yelling.

As if Fire Emblem wouldn't attract weeb waifu and husbando plagues in the first place. It was only a matter of time before that tism would burst out.
Don't remember if I posted it in this thread, but one of the few first FE ROMhacks was the modder's self-insert confessing to one of the characters:

My spergy post about the industry probably wasn't the right place to rant about it. It just seemed to me a lot of dubs tend to sound the same or sound very mismatched to the character in general..there are very good exceptions out there but I was making a general statement.

So I overheard a conversation by a Black Naruto fan. I think she's more tumblrina than weeaboo since she admits they still have social problems like sexual harrassment. Fair enough. But the next thing she says is she wants to move over there to become an animator and change their society from within.

Um...good luck with that.
Did you tell her she'd make more money working at McDonalds?

On a side note, I've never really watched the Naruto anime and I've been looking into some of the reactions to the ending as well as reactions to The Last. Some good arguments, some bad. How to some people it was wonderful, others hold Naruto as a scumbag and Hinata as completely worthless. Interesting stuff.

Who would even sexually harass a sheboon? Unless complaining about their giant hippopotamus ass always getting in the way counts...

Thanks to weeboos the historical Astolfo is 100% completely gone from Google.

Now when you Google him all you get is some pink haired gay twink.
Well, the original medieval character is still among the first Google results:

He wasn't historical, though, but a fictional character from an old French epic poem, similar to King Arthur or Siegfried.

I miss the days when Fire Emblem was free from the Weeaboo waifu plague.

Fire Emblem has always been an intensely anime series, it's just that what that meant has changed.

The one and only reason why Japanese companies like otakus and weeaboos is because they're the ones most likely to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on worthless plastic shit like this.

"The reason companies like customers is that they buy things."

I've become numb to people who buy figures like those. I know this is old, but the rabbit hole goes so much deeper...

23 feet long. 100,000 Yen which was around $900 USD. I found this picture on Neogaf so I assume the person who bought it is American, meaning he'd have had to ship it back to the US, too...

"I know what america is like, I've seen King Of the Hill!"

Looks like someone watched too many '60s Westerns.

If he really "knew everything about American history" he would know that real cowboys in the 1800s lived a hard life and it wasn't anywhere near as romantic as the spaghetti Westerns make it out to be.

Because America is a state in the Republic of Texas! ;)
I remember seeing this a response to a weeaboo with stereotypical views of Japan, but I can't find the original image.
