Thing is I CAN'T name someone else on this site with enough devotion to the cause to keep it running for more than a week. Either they're too lazy, would get overwhelmed, already have a job, or just don't have the right temperament and would ban half the site day one.

And null is not a banhappy admin. He always warns people first to fuck off. I told him in an argument if he doesn't like my posts he can just ban me and I'm gone, instead he just gave me this flavortext. Actually made me respect him more, since anyone else online would've sperged out and just banned me straight away. It's KF and everyone here is in troll mode but put yourself in null's shoes, you give a lot for this site, do a ton of shit behind the scenes to maintain it and most posters in their own little world forget null has to interact with a lot of spergs and it's tiresome. Normally I like to provoke admins and mods on most sites because they're power hungry shitheads and I've disagreed with how things are here but I also have a long career on the internet having seen a lot of things, and KF is ran way better than most forums I've ever posted on.

I once ran a long-forgotten forum in a forgotten corner of the internet many many years ago. Nothing like KF, and much smaller scale, but you learn just how obnoxious most of your users are to you when you work just to provide a space for people to speak because nobody thinks about how many people the admin has to deal with. I'm sure someone will call me a fag or simp or whatever, but null truly has done a way above average job of running the website, and I challenge anyone to name an administrator of a large forum who ever did better with the unique challenges KF faces.

Other than the cheese thread (lmao) I never have even really agreed with null and I find his perspectives on things really weird and distorted, but IMO he's one hell of a good forum admin all things considered. Put things in perspective. Look at the entirety of reddit and tell me null doesn't run a good show.

Even in that fight she lost, neither Zuko nor Katara could defeat her; Zuko lost, and Katara decided to trap her instead. Really, we can’t let one loss and momentary prolonged loss of insanity taint the broader picture of her brilliance.

Null has ran the site better than any Admin that comes to mind, WHILE under the shittiest circumstances imaginable. The man still has no bank account. And yet the lights stay on.

I will say this much, I agree with him on half his takes, the other half I don't because he acts like a expat that's been far from home WAY too long ( I'm not moving to Serbia or talking to Commie Chinks damn it, long live the American Empire). That said, that's also what I like about him. Right amount of sanity and crazy that let's him overcome just about any obstacle. Few people have that.
