Big week for blood angel fans.

Also they are essentially telling you they are gonna run out of these battleforce boxes, so if you care dont fucking sleep on them.

Will Independent Stores get them or are they online/GW retail only?

Edit: Oh crap, I just realized they're not even bothering with a Sigmarine set for AoS. The dynamic over there must be really weird. You have 3 "villain" (Tzeentch / Ogres / Goblins) sets and 1 "good guys" (Dwarves) set.

Interdiction Force is all Vanguard, too, I just noticed. Hm.

From what understand sigmarines are nowhere near as bad as the primaris have been.

Stormcast, and their Order allies in general, are getting three devoted box sets to coincide with the release of a Morathi campaign. In a moment of clarity, perhaps GW decided two Stormcast boxed sets releasing simultaneously would be overkill.

Also I'm pretty sure shops will get the battleforces boxes. Iirc they got them last year. But then again, the indom box was also going to stores.

eBay for second hand stuff but quality of build will vary a lot.

As for starting an army there are plenty third party companies who do alternate heads for Sisters just buy those.

Edit: I believe I’ve mentioned earlier in the thread about Fantasy Flight constantly losing game licensing well its happened again

They lost the Star Wars games! These things are basically their bread and butter at this point. I can see Asmodee sunsetting FFG in the near future.
Holy shit

PLEASE FFG COME BACK TO WARHAMMER

Also GW can’t paint female faces their sculpts are fine.

I would really, really like to pick up a Troggoth Hag, but I keep hearing rumblings that FW wants to dump their whole AOS line.
The rules will always exist as GW still has Bretonnia and Tomb Kings up even though they don’t make them anymore.

So if you want it and have the money to buy it, I’d say get it.

Upon wings of fire is coming back soon guys, ready for turn one DC charges?

It looks like this is going to be a trend now, any guesses on what the dark angels version of this is going to be? It will probably be a "new unit" of ravenwing inceptors, thats my guess.

Jokes on GW I already bought warhammer conquest so I probably have whatever crappy DA unit they’ve re named. However i’d put my money on some re named blade guard.

It dawned on me how big bad Hive Fleet Leviathan are really a massive bunch of pussies. Blood of Baal? PUSSIES. Octarius War? PUSSIES. I don't even want Hydra to reclaim their loser DNA. Post-retcon, former laughingstock Gorgon is a lot more fearsome than the bumbling buffoons of Leviathan.

I really want to see a re-release of battle fleet gothic i’d play aeronautica but the factions are too limited at the moment. Updated sculpts for necrons and orks would look sick AF.

I’ve been watching stuff on YouTube and i’m really catching the bug for it.

It's the least egregious of the lot, but still each box feels less than to at best equal to half an Indomitus box at the price of the whole thing. The US boxes have a $60 mark up from conversion rate of UK prices.
Well bud, the reason Indomitus sold so well was because of the absurd value compared to other boxes in the past. Don't go around expecting a box like that till maybe 10th ed. These battleforces boxes are mostly in line with last year's. I'd even say the T'au one is even better. The space marine one is a black sheep because of the start collecting box that's equivalent to it.

I didn't realize that Pete the Wargamer had finished his cultist conversion series:

Just finished the new Soul Drinkers book. It's fine, nothing earth-shattering. Turns out the Primaris Soul Drinkers don't know anything about the originals beyond the fact that they were erased from Imperial history at some point; some of them are really bothered by this, while the rest are like "fuck that, we've got heretics to shoot". They go in to retake the planet Kepris from an anti-Imperial cult and run into a shithead Inquisitor who knows more about them than he initially lets on. Then some shenanigans happen, they piss the Inquisitor off, and he declares that "the Soul Drinkers have made an enemy of the Inquisition again", which makes some of them really curious about their predecessors and what happened to them. Hopefully Counter or someone else follows up on this. It'd be interesting to see a novel or a series following the new Drinkers while they make their way in the galaxy and uncover the truth of the original chapter.
