And as for Death Corps, they are arguably more famous than Cadians and have plenty of third party kit bashes available.
Then there's Cadians. Part of why GW is fucking over Cadians is they were clearly meant to be colonial marines from Aliens, but that doesn't have the same cultural impact as it used to. While they don't look very Cadian, WGA does a fun kit of not-colonial-marines. If the pulse rifles aren't your aesthetic, you might get away with adding lasguns from Cannon Fodder? I don't know if I have any spares, but I might be able to kit bash a pseudo Cadian for you and see how it looks?
The problem with that is that, as prices have gone up, I don't know if it's cost effective. And you still need your HQ, vehicles, and what not.
This is why Spearhead doesn't work with third parties. There is not enough mass infantry to make it worthwhile.

This is very true. It's just very easy to get sucked into, unfortunately, since a lot of these people DO infect hobbies and ruin them, which I think is why people tend to be hypervigilant for perceived bullshit from both communities and companies.

So, finally managed to get my Deff Dredd (which, man was that a headche with the courier company), and thinking what paint scheme to give it. So, had this idea since good chunk of my Orks are DeathSkullz, I wanna try and give it like its looted parts with badly applied paint job, like dry brushing blue paint over like Yellow or Red.

If you want that "stolen and repurposed" effect then make some panels look freshly painted, make the paint on some panels super thin over a coat of the other guys paint (like it got washed off before it dried), and use plenty of layered chipping effects. Start with the color you want it to be > chip with a sponge the color of who you stole it from > chip with metallic around the edges.
