I thought WA had sperged out and DFE'd again when I spotted the thread title. Mixtape doesn't seem to have the drive for making these sorts of videos anymore. Hottest War was a fun alt-history series with good editing, but I don't see it continuing any time soon.

Does anyone still have that one War Aesthetics video where the title was called 'MONEY TALKS' where it was a montage of mercenaries in the Middle East while there was some phonk music playing? That video got taken down and it was uploaded alongside the 'THIS GUN IS FOR HIRE' video where it was basically the same scenario of mercenaries. I believe these videos is recent when War Aesthetics came back with another channel which he created a remaster of the Hottest War.

I didn't see it during a cursory search but here's an archive of his old channel.

Always thought WW1, aesthetically, would be a wonderful setting for some good horror fiction. Sadly not much of it exists, and the small amount that does is not quite "there" for me yet.
I've had an idea for a stalkeresque cosmic horror/dark fantasy setting set in a Zone Rouge for a very long time now and have never been able to find a way to properly express it.

In hot

A-10 Phonk (Takin Care Of)

Feels were strong on this one. Haunting to look out at the same terrain and people through the eyes of the Soviets.
I've tried to summarize my feelings about our shared experience in Afghanistan several times but am not doing a good job.

Please definitely post anything else from the Soviets in Afghanistan that you might have. Thank you.
