Another win for the Mullvad.

They're already based for their Albania Tirana server (al-tia-wg-004) because it literally stops Youtube's ads. I think Youtube just doesn't bother showing ads there, but the 001 server does for some buttfuck reason. Either way, I pay less than Youtube premium, and instead of that money going to demon lizard fuckers at GoyTube, it goes to based people instead.

Contrary to popular belief this isn't because YouTube ads are banned in Albania, but because for various reasons YouTube has decided that showing ads to Albanians isn't cost-effective and so they don't even offer it as an option to their advertisers.

Mullvad is fine but it doesn't have port forwarding so you need a different VPN for torrenting.

They used to. Apparently they had to remove it thanks to pedos using it to host CP on their IPs

You shouldn't have that much trouble leeching, the lack of inbound NAT is mainly an issue for seeding. This isn't to say you can't seed, but you'd be limited to peers with an inbound rule. Given that limits you to nerds with functioning firewall rules, you'll only really be peering with seedboxes that are already at 100% completion hence not much opportunity to seed.

https://airvpn.org/ is great for torrenting and offers port forwarding. Its meh for daily use because their IP's are shit reputation and you get a lot of captchas, but works fine for torrents.
You can get it on sales for about 25 eur per year

While I've not done much torrenting volume-wise I've never had trouble balancing my ratio out on most non-dead files. Typically takes less time than my download. They got rid of port forwarding vpns just when I learned about it so I've yet to use it.

I appreciate the sentiment but companies should just not be political entities. It doesn’t end well. Mullvad just says it’s a private individual engaging in democratic traditions and has nothing to do with the business.

While you may think that companies should be political, people who want to make things worse run companies that are political and fund things that ruin things for individual citizens of a country. The only way to fight this is to do the same thing back, as unfortunate as it is trying to remain neutral doesn't really help anything except letting freaks take control (though I don't think this mullvad founder or the company are overly chudly).

I don't use mullvad but this just encourages me to keep buying it for others. These people are poor for whatever reason and I think they still should be able to defend themselves and what not.
