Martinez was already on board before the case even went to its first appeal. Chances are Beard has withdrawn voluntarily. The crazy lady may have caught wind of that and spun her own story about it.

He lost the case in a horrific and incredibly embarrassing way reeking of pure incompetence. Withdrawing and falling on his sword was really his only honorable move.
Ty fucked up but is a decent guy. Probably helps Vic's malpractice case if he wants to go down that route. Also I really wish they had taken the moon shot to the USSC on trying overturn the public figure doctrine. I think Justice Thomas would have loved this case.
There are better cases for that, especially since the public figure doctrine ultimately wasn't the deciding factor. Ty literally didn't submit crucial TCPA-defeating evidence.

Unfortunately, "decent" ain't worth shit here. What Vic needed was legal competence, and he didn't get it. It's not like the CoA is gonna be all like "Well Ty, since you're so decent, we're gonna just go ahead and overturn and remand back to Chupp."
There's likely not gonna be a malpractice case.
The sad part is that Ty's incompetence has emboldened KV even more.
Every year that passes, as Vic slowly regains what he lost (not exactly what he lost, that chance was lost with the lawsuit, but the ability to work in the industry again and go to conventions without constant cancellations) the KV machine will slow down, die down more, and return back to what it was in 2018 - irrelevant fujos screeching in the wind and being ignored. Most of the hangers-on in kickvic were there for clout, and clout never stays in one place for long.
Right now the lion's share of his comeback hinges on AM studios getting traction. He hasn't really regained purchase in the industry in any meaningful way - the doors that closed to him in 2019 remain just as tightly shut if not even more so. AM certainly has incentive to prioritize their studio given how badly the convention scene is weathering currently economic conditions, but the fact that they had nothing to show off in time for the convention, which itself was a month later than normal, is not a great sign.
