I got bad news: it's not just an adaptation of Lethal Protector but also of Planet of the Symbiotes :horrifying:

I remember one of those movie trivia screens played before a flick and it quoted Dane Cook as saying comedy is more difficult than brain surgery.
 
So the first reviews have come out and surprise surprise, the film is apparently terrible.

Honestly I won't be surprised if Venom is bad considering the worst people at Sony are working on it including the person who greenlit the Emoji Movie and the guy who forced Venom in Spider-Man 3
 
Wish I could nosedive in and give you guys a review but I'm not going to be near any theater in the next week or so. I'll still be seeing this once I get home.

Because I have to know.
