Yes, it was retconned that Norman knocked up Gwen and she had his baby (twins) it’s being re-retconned but this story was written with that backstory in place. Gwen would’ve been dating Harry at the time. Norman also knocked up Harry’s girlfriend Lily Hollister, also the villain Malice. He takes actual glee in cucking his own son.

I'm shitting up the Venom thread here, but let me get this straight.

Norman Osbourne slept with Gwen Stacy who then gave birth to twins by him. This was then ret-conned that he actually just stole her DNA, mixed it with his own and bragged to Spidey that he'd slept with her. But that was de-retconned so that he DID sleep with her and she DID have twins with him. Meanwhile he also slept with this Lily Hollister (who I've never heard of) AND with the villain Malice - who for some reason I thought was actually just an evil personality of Susan Storm / Richards. So, he has cucked Spidey, his son and Reed Richards? Fucking hell. It's gotta be the flying sled, right? Chicks dig the flying sled.

I also thought Gwen Stacey was dead in this universe from having her spine snapped. Surely you're not saying the Gwen Stacey he knocked up was the Spider-gwen version from another universe. 'Cause I'm having trouble enough with it as is.

I went to the wiki or w/e and double checked this shit, but from latest storyline Norman didn't even know about these kids from Gwen, Harry before he died and was still evil, spliced Norman and Gwens dna to make these fast aging kids as a last fuck you before he died to screw with both Norman and Peter

All this palaver has motivated me to actually stop being a lazy arse and look it up myself as well. Maybe this is the de-retcon that was talked about but evidence for Gwen and Norman doing the horizontal samba in comics form:

This site catalogues Norman’s life far better than any wiki, plus the guy who runs it is very good at what he does.

Norman is literally the “Chris Redfield Bloodline” meme.

Good grief. The site is broken down into 18 chapters!

But it's great. Thank you. I adore that each generation of Osbournes has the same zig-zag hair pattern if they're male.

I love how in-universe they draw attention to it. Poor Normie jr is cursed.

Site’s a good read though, dives into his relationships, his mindset, his tech, everything even his multiversal counterparts. We’ve derailed this thread to hell and back but hell, Norman is……. so much. I mean what other supervillain fucked his arch-enemy’s GF, cucking his son in the process then murders her after she has his babies.

Once that is dropped no one can compete, he puts heavyweights like Doom or Thanos to shame by just how petty and deranged he is, Norman’s crimes are far more personal and damaging. Kill a billion people at once? Those are numbers, crucify the Swordsman in a fit of psychotic rage while screaming “I AM GOD!” That is far more enjoyable as a reader.

He’s also one of the few supervillains who hasn’t been made sympathetic, turned into a hero or neutered by poor writing.

So Venom fought Grey Venom and then Red Venom.

Who's gonna be the villain in the next one? Green Venom? Yellow Venom?

Got to see the movie by luck. I'm assuming either the pandemic or good ratings extended the run for a month more. Lucky me, got to see it before it went out.

The movie felt about even in enjoyment from the last one: somewhat rushed in terms of pacing [they knew where they wanted to get for the third act, and they made the first and second acts take a little too long so there were squished points], some jokes hit and some jokes didn't, and the decision to adapt Maximum Carnage without a lot of people dying was kinda dumb, but it worked out fine enough that I didn't dislike the movie.

Shriek being a black woman instead of an albino felt weird, as well as Carnage being so antagonistic to Kasady - other than the stress of them wanting different things, they could've gone with 'Venom's fusion isn't nearly as co-dependent as Carnage, meaning they can force Carnage to act in certain ways to protect Kasady or vice-versa', as a way to illustrate their differences. Still, I've seen worse movies and this isn't Eternals, so I'm satisfied. 3.5/5.

Saw it. Thought it was okay but not great. I enjoyed it overall but I have a lot of complaints about it.
Too many characters. Bad pacing. Forced sentimentality. Predictable jokes that overstay their welcome.
The Xenophages get old quickly, and as the center of most action scenes, that makes the whole action part of the film a little boring.
A perfectly watchable movie if you have the appropriate expectations for "third Venom movie."

Carnage was the Venom storyline most people remember from back in the day. They did that in the second movie. I don't know who this villian is other than generic trapped in a prison bad guy, the CGI monsters are shit, and why are all of the symbiotes friendly (and shit) now? They should have just brought in Spiderman and been done with it.
At least Venom is dead (for now)

The first two were classic 90s venom having drawn from books like lethal protector, the hunger, planet of the symbiotes, and carnage.

The new venom is trying to work in the mythos and pathos donny cage and writers in more recent years have tried to add go venom and the symbiotes as a whole

Honestly after joker 2 venom's got a pretty low bar to clear. Just be a goofy comic book movie for Halloween or be a cheese fest like the last two. Just don't be the pretentious, fruity art crap joker 2 tried to be. And failed miserably at.

Saw it last night, liked it more than the second, which is definitely the weakest of the trilogy. A lot of the hate is exaggerated but it does have issues. The pacing is a mess, the plot jumps all over the place, the other symbiotes are wasted and the Xenophages are annoying with how OP they are. That said, it's dumb fun. The dance scene is really cute.

Again and I can't stress this enough.....joker 2.

The movie that single handled decimated the one edge DC had over marvel, threw away all the good faith it had built up since 2019, and went out of its way to insult the fansbase it got simply because said fanbase were angry white geeks tired of woke comic book movies. Venom didn't exactly have a high bar to clear.

I actually did kinda like seeing a more tender, sentimental side to both Eddie and Venom. It was corny, but It worked for me. Again, the best parts of all of these movies are just those characters interacting, and not at all the actual plots.

Them taking out some dog fighting scumbags near the beginning was more entertaining than any of the Knull bullshit. Just have a movie where they do street-level shit like that.
