Woody as Carnage is really really good casting. Shame this will basically be ruined by it's PG 13 rating. Why are they still so afraid of R ratings after Deadpool and Logan made gangbusters money?

It's Sony. They're a bunch of retards.

1. Venom made more money than Deadpool and Logan.
2. Venom made $269 million in China (7th highest all time box office gross in China for a Hollywood movie) and they won't release violent gory movie in the theaters.

After watching Congo this weekend, I'm amazed with how PG-13 movies have changed in a decade and a half. Congo showed blood smears, mangled bodies, a detached eyeball, and a decapitated head. Meanwhile the first Venom movie showed impalement with no blood and heads being bitten off but either offscreen or very quickly onscreen with no blood splurging.

Chances are any kills by Venom and Carnage will be much like the last installment.

Is the Fuck China thread still active? I forgive the genocide the forced labor even the pollution. But this? The fact that we can't have violent gory superhero movies all because they won't release capeshit stronger than. Pg13 goes too fucking far

Did they change Venom's voice? He sounds off.
He sounds kinda like spiderman PSX/Dreamcast Venom Which is kinda good because that's like THE Voice I've always thought a guy like that would sound about when looking at pics of venom. No clue if it's the same Voice guy or not though.

Capeshit has ruined the PG-13. The CCP just put the final nail in its coffin.

Why forgive any of it? The only one I can kind of understand is the genocides (don’t forget Tibet) because Uighurs are Islamic, and Tibet’s rulers were feudal overlords who punished defiance with mutilation. All the rest of it the CCP needs to be slowly ripped limb from limb by their own people.

If superheroes were real the first people they would take down would be the Elites if they’re any sort of hero at all.

Congo terrified me as a kid because of how violent it was. The effects, combined with the noises the rampaging monkeys made pretty much spooked the shit out of watching it.

This movie is like Blankman levels of soft. Tries to be edgy but falls flat.

Still Tom Hardy doing the voice
I think they fiddled with the voice processing, and Hardy himself is putting a bit more zip into it.

The initial scene with Venom singing and making breakfast just pushes all my giggle switches. Venom may be a badass symbiote but he can't cook or sing worth a damn.
