WOW GOOD THING TRUMP DOESN'T HAVE CONGRESS AND THE SENATE AND OWN THE SUPREME COURT
Fuck you are subhuman. I look forward to you being a good conservative.
I wasn't aware Trump could just take control of entire states just because his party controls the Senate and Congress. You do realize a lot of these are state level blockages right?
Except they arrested citizens and legal immigrants too. Even Native Americans, who were here before the white man arrived.
I find that hard to believe, but it could have happened. Were these people deported though? Because if not then it is fine. If a citizen gets caught he should have recourse and just be let go. This is basically arguing that ICE should err on the side of letting people walk on "dude trust me" claims. No, that is how you get people taking advantage of the system and intentionally fucking it.
Obama and Biden did it better, without announcing it loudly.
Biden allowed a unprecedented wave of immigration into the USA, in the millions. More people entered under Biden than under Obama, Bush and Trump 1 combined. The fact you think he was doing a decent job is insane, and leads me to not take you seriously.
Yes. Because if a leftist state wants to keep its brown border-jumping populace, they will have to learn the consequences of having them. Otherwise, if violating the rights of states for a political agenda is A-OK, then a leftist who believes in gun control would have the right to confiscate the firearms of everyone from conservative states because they can claim that it's a public safety concern due to all the school shootings.
Biden's handling of Texas said Immigration was a federal issue. Now it suddenly is a states issue again? Which is it? Do you not see how there is no standard here, only what is most useful for the DNC at the moment?
Maybe that's because Obama focused on criminals instead of harmless people, legal residents, and citizens. Maybe, just maybe, doing the job right is a key factor.
Again, you are ignoring the fact that the ENTIRE paradigm has changed since Obama. Obama did it when it was acceptable to do it. Nowadays it no longer is acceptable to deport people like he did to the DNC at all. Trump could literally announce that he was gonna enforce the exact same things as Obama did and it would still cause a shitshow.
Do you remember the "kids in cages" fiasco? How Trump was lambasted for it? How it came out the "cages" had existed for years, since Obama 1st term, but only became a issue when Trump came in? Does that not give you pause to realize the issue might be different standards and shifting agendas? Obama hasn't been POTUS for almost a decade now. His big wave of deportations you keep bringing up were almost 20 years ago. The world has changed, political agendas have changed. The enforcement of immigration law at the level of Obama's 1st term is simply no longer acceptable to the "no human is illegal" crowd. They don't WANT any enforcement of immigration, they want open borders. THEY ARE NOT ARGUING IN GOOD FAITH!
It's almost as if, if you do it quietly and don't boast about how literally EVERY person you deport is a "violent criminal", the gut instinct of the government being to blame everyone they kill or deport by mistake as being a terrorist or assassin or illegal, on top of just lying about every other thing in general... Who knew that if as an administration you take the law and the role seriously, you get less pushback?
Having to pretend you aren't enforcing the law to be able to do it without people throwing a fit is no way to run a society. Also ignores the fact Trump was elected directly to do this, unlike Obama whose platform was "hope and change".
What? Carrying a gun where Alex Pretti was doing it isn't illegal; he even had the permits.
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying.
I haven't heard anything about it being a legal CC, but I am gonna assume you are right since I haven't heard anything otherwise. But: The Minnesota AG (and a bunch of other D controlled state AGs) are of the opinion that you should not have a weapon on you during a protest, as that is a a incitement to violence and not covered by the 2nd. That is their opinion, which they have coveniently forgotten now that it is convenient to pretend they care about the 2nd when they have spent the last 40 years pushing gun control.
Why the fuck do they even have firearms outside of immediate immigration enforcement against potentially dangerous criminals?
You are right, they shouldn't be armed. They should just be serving warranties and taking the illegals away. The local police are the ones that are supposed to support them and be armed if there is a reason to believe things might be violent.
It just so happens that Walz the the faggot mayor of Minneapolis refused to cooperate, forcing ICE to do the entire job themselves. And then mobs of antifaggots and revolutionary LARPers started showing up with whistles, screeching, sabotage and incessant attempts at obstruction.
