The pedo narrative is only clinged to by Leftists. Gaetz survived the attempted smear and was reelected multiple times since then. Everyone knows its bullshit and it no longer has relevance. Gaetz enjoys popularity within the GOP because he is not a boomer necon shitbag but instead a MAGA shitbag.

Not being American I've largely been spared Bill Nye in my media. But one thing I am aware of him from is when he presented a cartoon about homosexuality in which a straight ice-cream is raped gay by other ice-creams.

I'm unsure whether he was unaware of the message the cartoon was sending or simply okay with it. Deeply unpleasant, in any case.

one of my favorite "Bill Nye the retarded guy" bits was after the Sendai quake and the Fukushima reactor, Nye was on CNN or whoever trying to scare people about nuclear power, and was talking about how "there's still things in there that might cause reactions, like the control rods!"
which is roughly like looking at a burnt out husk of a car and saying "there's still things in there that might cause it to go forward, like the parking brake!"

Before he resigned from Congress, he was still under a ethics inquiry about it. And in 2021 he tried to get Trump to pardon him, something you wouldn't do if it was all bullshit. If Gaetz was on the left, you would be rightfully calling him out for this bullshit, but because he politically aligned to you, he gets a blind eye instead.

Hell even if you think he didn't do anything against all odds, wouldn't you want him to full investigated first before getting the role?

People also forget the details of this.

When Gaetz entered the House some of the boomer neocons tried to get buddy buddy with him. During this process they give him some tour of drinking with the boys and have some girls come around for hookers and blow. Gaetz apparently never actually fucked anyone. But the play there was that one of the girls brought around was underaged. Spiking the event and creating the narrative on how Gaetz likes his girls underaged.

This narrative and smear campaign was designed to run him out of office. Much like the later successful #MeToo sexual assault bullshit done in the Senate. If you want to totally not schizo conspiracy post the usual game is someone in Washington invites you to a small private dinner to communicate that you have entered the inner circle and are becoming a made man. They get you drunk or drug you then have a 16 year old hooker come in and roll in the hay with you. Whether or not you actually have sex here is irrelevant because photographing you naked with a confirmed 16 year old is enough to ruin most people. Forcing you into compliance with the swamp.

Gaetz lack of compliance indicates he never did this. Plain and simple.

I had said a couple days ago that Drudge was getting less TDS, but I don't think that's so, and I think the leftist operatives who run it now have found a new play.

It seems their policy is to literally not mention Trump by name--ever. However they still are chick-a-block with scare headlines about how horrible his cabinet picks are, and how everyone is leaving the country.

I think people also don't understand that the investigation itself is the punishment. The federal bureaucracy has done this for decades now.

Gaetz was never actually charged with anything for example.

IIRC he collapsed a speakership in the house. Get him to resign from the house, let him be AG for two weeks, then rugpull.
 
Trump's appointments feel like the movie The Untouchables, where Elliot Ness goes outside of the corrupt Chicago law enforcement to find a bunch of outsiders to deal with Al Capone.

I was hoping to see RFKj as environment head but if Trump makes him health tzar I'll be happy too. He'd better not exclude him though. RFKj is excellent.
