No -everything was called the night of the election. 2020 was the first time it ever took more than one evening because... well, if you've hung out here long enough, you know why.

2016 was the first time I recalled watching MSNBC go until almost 1AM unwilling to declare Trump the winner, despite every other major outlet already doing so. Glorious.

I'm just flat out saying 2D Zelda is better than 3D Zelda wholesale. I don't think Zelda was ever meant to be 3D. I think the 3D games suck, frankly. Barring Majora's Mask, I can't think of a single good 3D Zelda game. I think ever since Nintendo brought Zelda to 3D, it's been struggling to figure out new things for Link to actually do so you have several games all of which are gimmicky. Puzzles in 3D Zelda have been pathetic. It's platforming at best and fetch quests at worst. The 2D games don't have this problem.

The 3D games have a different vibe for sure. The 3D games all come down to their atmosphere and side quests. If those don't work for you the games won't work at all. But what OoT and MM did really pushed the boundaries of prior 3D games. Other games of that time that tried to have the same scale really struggled. Of course they are dwarfed by modern open world games, but MM in particular still stands out because its quests feel like a handcrafted painting whereas modern open world games feel like 90% of the content is tacked on as filler and often times just procedurally generated.

It's always been declared the night of historically, barring a handful of contested states being "decided", but subject to change barring challenges. The challenges are almost always unsuccessful. The recounts usually shift a few votes around, but rarely change the outcome of an election. One notable example of it actually being successful in the Minnesota Senate race in 2008 between Al Franken and Norm Coleman.

2020 was a very unique situation. COVID made everything a clusterfuck in terms of mail-in ballots in numbers never before seen, in certain states being seen for the first time. The USPS was shorthanded, as were election workers. The protocols were put together on the fly and poorly thought out with very little guidance or supervision. The multiple day wait was extremely unique and unseen in recent memory.

Do not expect the same this time around, in my opinion. The same factors aren't present, and most mail-in ballots are already accounted for and in. I believe the race will be called tonight one way or the other, though I may be wrong if the margins are small enough in key states.

Russians (or more accurately, the government) are obviously biased for Trump, they don't love him, he just happens to be nowhere near is as opposed to their interests as most US presidents, his orange man's mind Iran (for being Israel's biggest threat), and China, for being much more economically prominent, are the bigger priorities with Russia being seen as "Europe's problem" that they can deal with themselves.

No. Prior to 2000, elections were mostly settled the same night due to them not being close. The vote would hit a statistical point of no return, a winner would be announced, and the loser would concede, usually by 1 am est at the latest. All states would keep counting in order to settle local elections and issues, and to certify the election days later.
