Which websites? Cause I noticed that shit happening already under Obama when ICANN no longer answered to the department of commerce
8chan comes to mind, also Kiwifarms went touch and go for a while and would have fallen if Null had not pulled some much work to reroute the website's infrastructure. Lot of smaller forums also went under.

I wonder how much much Trump will repay Putin for his hard work.
I'm sure Russia is doing stuff to fuck with us, but at this point I'm so trained by their bullshit that if they say it was Russia, I believe it was someone on their side.

Edit: I know Raffensperger is technically a Republican, he's Republican #1 on publicly working to steal the election for Biden. He released an call with Trump edited to make it look like Trump was asking him to find fraudulent votes that was so egregious inaccurate that the NYT(or another major news agency) had to post a retraction(after the damage was done).

Oh man. I'm getting 2016 post-election deja vu.

I still had a Facebook then. Lefties freaked the fuck out obviously, but they especially showed pure vitriol towards the third party voters. It was beyond unhinged and hateful. Haha.
The best part about this copeument is that Trump would’ve probably won the popular vote too if not for Gary Johnson.

I'm going to rub it in if he wins, talk about a lot of old FB liberals that were all 'joyous' in 2020..

yeah and the people that actually give a shit can never be put into positions because the fail the government's puritan tests. How many young people who know how to fix shit are never going to get put into any meaningful positions because they've said the word nigger in cod and the ai system detected it and flagged them
I’d argue nepotism and social capital bias has been more toxic in government. Sorry but us peons at best maybe we could wind up as a representative (maybe) but that’s as far as we’d ever go and we’d never be one of the big dick swinging reps who did anything notable.

To really be one of the major players in congress or in a President’s cabinet you need to have connections. That’s a long line of dicks to suck. “Oh so nice to see a fellow Yale man.” 100% true history Richard Nixon was looked down upon by much of his colleagues. Because he went to Whittier University, he wasn’t an Ivy League man.

And then you just have political families far beyond the Kennedys and Bushes. Nancy Pelosi’s father was a well connected politician. There’s way too many to name off.

And yes a reason Trump was loathed was because he was just a rich motherfucker who didn’t follow protocol. It’s not a meritocracy, it’s an old boys club.

The problem with the whole Net Neutrality thing is that nobody knows what it even means. You can have two people having a knock-down
argument about it and later realize they weren't even talking about the same fucking thing.
Net Neutrality as the idea of what it did is good, Net Neutrality the law was not. If it can be implemented without all of the pork that made the previous law complete shit then it would be good.

I just find the whole not voting thing a pointless act of nihilism. Sure both sides may suck but one side always sucks just slightly less.
I dunno ... I think that enough GOP voters who stayed home in 2012 sent the message to Mittens just fine. Didn't come across as nihilistic to me whatsoever.

And I voted for Romney in 2012, btw. Wish I had been part of the cool kids club by staying home though.

I think it just depends on the individual and their reasonings for it. If their reason for not voting is "lol everything sucks, so you better suck it up and get used to it because it's not worth trying to change," then yeah ... That's defeatist and nihilistic. That's a mentality I never want to have.

I can easily imagine a split-ticket where a state goes pro-abortion but Trump still makes it a safe win.
Florida has an abortion amendment on the ballot that would protect abortion up to viability of the fetus. It could definitely pass (along with the recreational marijuana amendment). That won't prevent Florida from going to Trump, though. People have far more nuanced political beliefs—especially at the local level—than "vote blue/red no matter who."

I wouldn't care so much about Null not voting because while he did actually leave the country, (which is what I tell people who insist on not voting at all) he appears to not care about assimilating with his new country or any country outside the United States for that matter. Not caring about whatever government is ruling over you is to me defeatist, and quite frankly, unmanly.
