DeSantis is a Paul Ryan disciple who started aping Trump after his sensei Ryan fell to the sword. He's not a leader, he's not principled, and he'll never win a presidential election. The fact that he ran against Trump, wasting a bunch of NeverTrumper money that could have otherwise been put to harmful purpose, is one of the few things that recommend him.

I think those that still simp for DeSantis are delusional, I've been suspicious of him for at least 3 years just by seeing how the Media hit pieces against him were purposely designed to make him likeable to those that hate the media.

Obviously running against Trump proved my suspiciona right, but on top of that, he really showed he does not have the charisma to be a national candidate. I'm not sold on JD Vance yet, especially after getting burned by Pence(who I think partly got conned into his Judas stance), but he absolutely has sold me on his ability to run on a national level.

Reminder to everyone to check what's on your ballot before going to vote, and doing a minute of research where needed. A lot of places have judges, state/district attorneys, and school board members up for a vote. Those are the less famous but important places that activists have been targeting for decades.

Do research on the candidates, don't just mindlessly vote "yes retain this judge" or leave it blank. You might help unseat a bad actor by paying attention.

In regards to the "To Vote or Not to Vote" debate ...

I think that there are valid reasons to vote ... And also valid reasons not to.

I've always hated the smug saying, "If you didn't vote, you can't complain!" Yeah, well, what if there's a person who didn't vote because they didn't believe that any of the choices they had were any good? Would this person suddenly have the "right" to complain if they had written-in Mickey Mouse or Harambe? lol.

On the flip side, I also think it's stupid for people who don't vote to make fun of people who do vote. "I'm not part of your system, maaaan! You sheeple!"

We have the freedom and the choice to approach voting how we want. End of story.

I just find the whole not voting thing a pointless act of nihilism. Sure both sides may suck but one side always sucks just slightly less.

I asked my Orthodox Jew friend if Hippo was kosher or not, in case it was wrong and I'd have to go and eat it. And he said no, Hippo is not kosher, so I can't either way.
